I sometimes think that the more I wail about nude shoes and The Need For a Bracelet, the more I am causing some kind of passive-aggressive counter-reaction in the stylists of the world except I know no one is actually listening to me so that's impossible but suffice to say: this dress is great on her, in spite of the fact that the pleating makes it looks like it was sucked into the waistband of her Spanx, but ACCESSORIES WHY.

This dress looks black in this photo, but green in others. I feel confident that SOMEONE reading this was at this event and can file a report in the comments letting us know which it was, and whether it was as cute in person as it seems to be. That said, it goes without saying that I would have given her more interesting shoes and -- say it with me -- a necklace. Just kidding. Obviously, a bracelet.
