Suddenly, it's the summer of 2007\. Paris Hilton is going to jail, Lindsay Lohan is car-jacking people, and Hilary Duff is attending awards shows aimed at young people! (Parenthetically, I do believe that one day The Summer of 2007 will be hailed as an apex in the world of celebrity gossip. SO MUCH CRAZY SHIT HAPPENED. I will never forget where I was when I learned Paris was heading to the clink. It's a time capsule in itself: I was at Denim Doctors, getting original hems placed on my newly shortened New Religion jeans, and I got a text from Heather with the news. I gasped and told EVERYONE at Denim Doctors, ALL OF WHOM gasped. Oh, Los Angeles. Never change.)
