I'm pretty sure this is Roksanda Ilincic, so I'm going to go ahead out on that limb. It's been BIG for that label lately -- I feel like we're seeing it more and more; maybe I'll do a slideshow soon -- but not always the MOST effective. For example, La Blanchett wore a better version of the dress-with-belt. I didn't mind this as much on the runway, but it also fit the model better, and even then I wasn't wild about the lopsidedness of it. The fabric on the left is so heavy-looking, and on January the belt isn't sitting as well. But you know what REALLY isn't selling it? The rest of her.
That's a great smile, and I weirdly don't even hate the wackadoo eye makeup here, but the messy teenage braid -- which appears to be woven through with a bunch of fake hair that's a different color; I have NEVER seen that before on JJ's head -- is making me insane. Not only is it a bad look on her, but it also looks like the person who braided it was missing all but two of their fingers.
I don't like this, either. The top looks like a rash guard, the skirt looks like it split, and her eye makeup is freaking me out.
KIERNAN IS FOURTEEN AND SHE IS KILLING YOU PEOPLE. There is something almost creepy about the preternatural cool she exudes. She isn't showing up at the Teen Choice Awards in a neon bra and mesh shorts; she's wearing freaking high fashion and better hair than January Jones and acting like this is all completely regular, like Dakota Fanning used to do. FASHION GODS, PLEASE PRESERVE HER.
Well. I am not loving whatever her hair is doing. And a red lip might have been better for the occasion. But she IS defeating Kim Kardashian in the Skirt Deployment arena, and I think this looks better on her than most of her garments throughout history, so YAY FOR THAT.
Oh, boy. I'm sure we've all wanted to wrap ourselves in a tapestry at one point or another, but when we do, we're all going to make sure it FITS, right?
I actually think this is pretty cool, but again, like Hendricks, her makeup seems a bit Late Luncheon for a dress that dramatic.
This guy. He deserves an Emmy just for shaving his own hairline and then having to hang out waiting for it to grow back all the time. Is he still engaged to Alexis Bledel? Just curious.
Probably exactly the ratio Don Draper would want. I'm not sure about the navy suit on Jon there, but his accessories are keenly chosen.
This is total Draper Face. GET READY. It's back on Sunday.
