Do you think the people promoting movies that are not currently at Cannes feel all resentful and annoyed that they're not currently sitting on a balcony in the south of France right now, drinking an Aperol Spritz? On the other hand,[ there's a crime spree afoot in Cannes right now,](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/cannes-crime-spree-burglaries-physical-526165?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and surely it's better to be promoting a caper movie in New York than LIVING ONE in France.
