The thing is, though... I think the basic structure and design of this dress is really beautiful. I just ALSO think that designing it around a bra is really dumb. It undercuts the potential glamour, which was probably the point, I guess, but... not a point I wish to have honed. Imagine if that had just been a white blouse, no transparency. Very crisp, but still elegant.

FINALLY, A COLOR. And one of my favorites. I quite like this, in fact. It might just be the green and the sparkles luring me in, but I'm perfectly happy to be duped.

Psst, Jena, you forgot to take off your stunt harness.

The booties are too much with this, I think. They don't complete the look so much as compete with it. I also think the colors of some of that leather are retro in the way I never hoped to revisit.

Oooh, I am not feeling the suit/tie/shirt color combo. I am, however, feeling his face.

Oh, child. YOUR HAIR.

I am not generally a huge fan of the high-low hemline like this, especially when a perfectly cute dress is buried underneath it. But this isn't terrible, actually -- she looks pretty -- and it might've been saved if Team Patina had chosen a better lipstick. It needs some facial drama.

This is TOO much facial drama. He looks a little cheesy. By which I mean, one wedge short of a plate.
