Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning has LONG loved herself some wacky flatforms, and these fit right into her general Shoe Style. The denim skirt, plus that classic LV bag and those shoes, she could really be a time traveller. I'd watch a movie where Elle Fanning time travels from, like, Dazed and Confused to the future.

Speaking of platforms...these are COMMITTED to the Wedge Lifestyle. I decided that she was clearly at dance lessons for SOMETHING and threw this outfit together randomly to walk out to her car.

She is also somewhat committed, in life, and on the red carpet, to wearing stuff that washes her out. I think this whole casual look is totally appropriate and cute on her -- I love the sneaks -- but I wish it were, say, blue. (This is her boyfriend, by the way. They're going to dinner with her Mom. IT'S TOO CUTE I CAN'T STAND IT.)

But, ending on a high note! These really might be the best shoes I've seen her in, like, ever, and she looks GREAT in this entire outfit. Not washed out at all. So, apparently, what do I know?

Fugs and Fabs: The Recent Candids of Elle Fanning
The paparazzi are ALL OVER Fanning The Younger lately, and it turns out she has ten movies set to come out in the next year or so. Like, real ones: She's playing a transgender teen in a movie with Naomi Watts and Susan Sarandon; she's in the All The Bright Places adaptation; she's in the new Ben Affleck/Dennis Lehane movie with Zoe Saldana and Sienna Miller and Bffleck himself; she's playing Mary Shelley (!); she's in How to Talk to Girls at Parties, which is the John Cameron Mitchell/Neil Gaiman movie with Kidman; and she's in the new Bryan Cranston movie about Dalton Trumbo with such lightweights as Helen Mirren and John Goodman. And that's not even all of it. I got tired just looking all of that up. SO, in other words, get ready for your fill of Elle Fanning, if such a thing there can be. (I appreciate her. Sometimes she wears crazy stuff, which, yay, and also I loved her in Super 8.). [Photos: Fame/Flynet]
