## Anna Paquin in Paule Ka

This dress looks like it was inspired by a very fancy restaurant's napkin origami.

This dress is very pretty, and then we get down to the shoes and it's a resounding clunk. I would have swapped out the shoes in BOTH her outfits, actually.

## Anika Noni Rose

Whereas she looks FANTASTIC. I want to step into her mojo.

I wish I felt as good about this dress. Like, did someone shoplift her mojo? Did she drop it in the sea? Did she leave it in her other shoes?

It looks a bit better in this photo, but we aren't going to talk about it because we need to discuss Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Specifically... what is going ON there? Maybe HE stole her mojo and it's in his pocket and making a bunch of noise and he's scared she's going to hear it and bust him.

## Jonathan Rhys-Meyers

I am also just not entirely sure I would have recognized him. He's like... Dan Bucatinsky from Scandal meets Ted Allen from Chopped, meets Bizarro World Anderson Cooper.

[Fugs and Fabs: The "Roots" Cast at MIPTVI'm not sure how it came to pass that Anna Paquin, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and Anika Noni Rose are the ones promoting this at MIPTV -- there are a lot of big names in this cast -- but I suppose it's possible they were all busy. I wonder if wherever they are is a place where True Blood, The Tudors, and From Justin To Kelly were extremely popular. (Just kidding -- Anika was excellent in Dreamgirls. I just LOVE and NEVER weary of the factoid that she was in FJTK. I like to imagine she and Kelly Clarkson still call each other occasionally to be like, "That... really happened.") \[Photos: Getty\]![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2016/04/ffn_miptv_opening_sgp_040416_52013778.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fugs-and-fabs-the-roots-cast-at-miptv-04-2016/)
