## Geri Halliwell / Ginger Spice

Geri showed up looking like Glinda the Good Spice, all princessy and glam, albeit with slightly psychotic hair. It's the updo of a kooky stalker type who shows up at galas and tries to crash them for autographs. Someone might have a restraining order out against that hair.

Mel B looks like she ripped that slit herself, about ten minutes ago.

## Victoria Beckham / Posh Spice

And Victoria sauntered in like a boss, cool as a cucumber, in a hopelessly great coat and looking as dramatically sullen as ever. I love her. This totally says, "You GUYS, I don't really have time for resurrecting the dead right now, as I have AN ACTUAL JOB."

And not just because she brought her studly entourage with her, although that is certainly a wonderful quality as well.

## Scary, Ginger, Baby, and Sporty

But the best thing of all is that there are NO pictures in any of our subs of Posh posing with ANY of the other four on the red carpet. She was clearly THERE, but these four were joined at the hip, and Posh was clearly villaining it up in another corner of the room. Mel C's dress is a cute idea, but I'm a bit terrified of the way the folding is basically making her groin into a Tunnel of Love.

And yes, Baby is essentially wearing a black tube dress frosted with royal blue lace. No wonder Posh steered clear of her -- she probably didn't want her proximity to be considered a tacit endorsement.

Edina from Absolutely Fabulous.
