I really love this. I also really did love the moment in the "Gotham" pilot when she's beating up an enemy, or something, and her wig slips and she delivers a knockout blow and then casually straightens it. I can't decide if that was intentional or just awesome reacting from Jada, but it was excellent. Mostly, though, this dress is just great. And let's check into the shoe situation...
I am sure I'm supposed to hate them, because they're like muppet manacles, but... I think they're kind of fabulous. They'd look INSANE on me, but they're Jada at her best.
Ben looks nice. Very calm and regular and... nice. Donal Logue also looks perfectly fine -- it's a lot of milquetoastness here -- but I get the sense he probably doesn't go Full Stylist and I bet Ben does.
He plays Oswald Cobblepot, aka Penguin, on the show. He's good on it, even if the show itself isn't exactly my thing -- like, he's not FULL EVIL yet, but he's certainly a squirrelly bastard. I don't have much to say about his suit; I just felt like I'd throw him a bone because most of America only sees him in his makeup looking deranged.
She looks foxy in that dress and then those shoes are totally missing their pole.
Great lipstick. And that top would make a cute shirt. But the rest of it I want to torch. The taupe shoes are SUCH a no for me with white clothes.
But at least these two are having fun.
THREE TIMES NOW I have typed her name as "Charoline Dhavernas." That's too many whammies. It will not surprise you that I don't love this, but... basically, not many people gave me feelings at these panels. It's fine. I will forget it in ten seconds. Why is it in this slideshow? Because people might want to discuss the awfulness of "Wonderfalls." Ah, memories.
"Our show is dark, Dancy. Let us look pleasant and alluring. Like we want to eat a steak with you, not eat you as a steak."
