Leslie Mann

I'm starting here with Leslie's Saint Laurent because she is employing a tube top very similarly to the way Hailee Steinfeld did earlier in the week. And I do NOT think she needed it. Maybe it was part of the original outfit, but even so, I think I'd have left it at home. As black jumpsuits go, that one at least fits, so don't take the sexy away from it by blindfolding your sternum. I like that she accessorized it brightly, though.

Amy Poehler in Ralph Lauren

I don't know. It could be worse, but it's still a massive dickey, which I guess at the "American Comedy Awards" might be the point -- you know, just to make someone say that out loud. Like a game.

Aubrey Plaza in Viktor & Rolf

It annoys me how much I like that dress, because I hate her hair, and I can't deal with her affect anymore (it's TRUTH TIME up in here). She and Billy Eichner are the weak links of Parks & Rec, because their characters suffer from the same problem -- they both are best in VERY small doses and the writers always give them about six lines too many for that to work -- and so my feelings about that spill over to her, and it doesn't help that she does the April Ludgate Glower all over every red carpet. You don't have to be my trained smile monkey, but let's not pigeonhole yourself, either.

And this is fine. It's calming. It's the chamomile tea at the end of the day: It might secretly not taste THAT great, but whatever, it does the trick.
