This is definitely part of the line, and it's... I mean, the purse is sort of cute, and the pattern on the dress is fine. The shortness feels apt for her avowed "mod" inspiration, but I hate how it looks with the black tights. They make it hard to judge the dress itself because they're so freaking HEAVY and UGH. She talked about how the influence was "modical" -- mod plus nautical -- and I seriously cannot think of anything LESS nautical than those suckers.

Now THAT is nautical. And probably the best of the bunch, although whether you that's a real compliment depends on your other feelings. I don't think I would personally want to wear it, but of the attending guests, she looks the best.
