She's so lovely. This shot is obviously great so you can see the beading on her Elie Saab dress, but it's also just nice to see such a natural-feeling red carpet shot. Bonus points, of course, for that smashing red lip.

This dress, to me, feels like the elegant grown-up version of Elle Fanning's recent Marc Jacobs look -- a much more successful interpretation of that idea. There are a lot of photos of her sticking her leg out of the slit, Angelina-style, and I wish that habit would fall out of fashion, but overall this whole dress is SO pretty when all of the different elements of it could have added up to be SO WRONG.

I think the sheer-ish aspect works, too. It's not REALLY sheer, but it's not 1000% opaque. It's well done.

This beading is glorious.

This feels vaguely related -- in emotion, not literally -- thanks to the embroidery on the...flaps, for lack of a better term. (I am sure there IS a better term.) This dress is also very pretty and manages to look sort of easy. Like, basically, MANY people could successfully wear this. (Successfully AFFORD it is a whole other thing.)

This is also pretty, and feels like it's filling the hole I like to call We're Kinda On Vacation Here So I Need Something Floaty. (Liev fell asleep reading the paper on the balcony of their hotel, I decided, after a couple of Camparis.)

Other than the note that she is really into those shoes (and I'm not sure I agree), this is such a NORMAL PERSON photo from these two -- with the caveat of course that they look like two SUPER ATTRACTIVE normal people. Isn't that really the goal for us all?
