HAPPY FRIDAY! At last. While you wait for your escape from the office, enjoy:

\-- Today is Harry Potter AND JK Rowling's birthday (what a coincidence), and[ *Time* spoke to a variety of actors in the *Harry Potter* movies to get birthday wishes for Rowling](https://time.com/3978936/harry-potter-jk-rowling-birthday-wishes/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I loved this one: "Dear Miss Rowling, On the occasion of your birthday I trust you will be clothed in delicious pink garments surrounded by plates of purring kittens. These wishes come by order of Dolores Umbridge." But they really are all lovely.

\-- Over at The AV Club, this is amazing: [No, I didn’t call your shitty movie a “comedic masterstroke”](https://www.avclub.com/article/no-i-didnt-call-your-shitty-movie-comedic-masterst-221227?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- [My Rage Tweets about this IDIOTIC *Little Women* reboot at The CW made Mental Floss's coverage of everyone's freak-out](https://mentalfloss.com/article/66763/little-women-getting-gritty-tv-reboot?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I stand by my rage.

\-- This is fascinating, at Buzzfeed: [How Teen Boys On The Internet Uncovered The Greatest Catfish Of Our Time.](https://www.buzzfeed.com/katienotopoulos/how-teen-boys-on-the-internet-uncovered-the-greatest-catfish?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#.imRq4mZyq) I hope the Ashlee Simpson theory proves to be true.

\-- Also at Buzzfeed, for some reason, this story really *really* made me laugh and I don't know why: [The 13 Stages Of “Holidays In The United States” Coming Up When You Email Yourself](https://www.buzzfeed.com/lyapalater/the-13-stages-of-holidays-in-the-united-states-coming-up-whe?utm%5Fterm=.ntNrzwlAO&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#.iaZZGqoDZ)

\-- ALSO at Buzzfeed, [Anne Helen Peterson's take on Tom Cruise 2.0 is worth your while.](https://www.buzzfeed.com/annehelenpetersen/the-failure-of-tom-cruise?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#.kk5VerB5V)

\-- Lainey is OF COURSE [all over this scoop that Bffleck is allegedly dating the nanny](https://www.laineygossip.com/Ben-Affleck-continues-to-deny-affair-with-nanny-Christine-Ouzounian-as-its-reported-that-she-is-in-love-with-him/40221?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). *People* is actually backing up *Us Weekly*'s story.

\-- Also at Lainey,[ Michelle Williams is apparently dating Jonathan Safran Foer, the writer](https://www.laineygossip.com/Michelle-Williams-dating-author-Jonathan-Safran-Foer/40217?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). My take on this news bit was basically exactly the same.

\-- You know [they're auctioning off a ton of *Mad Men* props and whatnot, right?](https://auction.screenbid.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/38/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I want the SCDP mug SO MUCH.

\-- Look at all [these pictures of Grand Central in the 40s!](https://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/photos-new-york-city-in-the-1940s?xid=social%5F20150729%5F49969976&adbid=626535983345876992&adbpl=tw&adbpr=3270129738&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (Travel & Leisure)

\-- At Celebitchy: [Is Calvin Harris going to propose to Taylor Swift with a $500K ring?](https://www.celebitchy.com/439993/is%5Fcalvin%5Fharris%5Fgoing%5Fto%5Fpropose%5Fto%5Ftaylor%5Fswift%5Fwith%5Fa%5F500k%5Fring/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- Speaking of Taylor, [you probably want to listen to Kelly Clarkson cover "Blank Space."](https://www.vulture.com/2015/07/clarkson-covers-blank-space-taylor-loves-it.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (Vulture)
