I hope your holiday is delicious and peaceful (unless you're heading in there prepping for a fight, in which case I hope you win it). We'll be back to business as usual on Monday. [At Drinks With Broads this week](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/throw-a-drink-pick-up-a-1970s-bestseller), we revisit the bestselling books of 70s Thanksgiving! Check out the new Cruel Intentions! And discuss what drinks are best for throwing into people’s faces! (There will be no Thursday edition this week because of the holiday but it's good for us to have a little downtime because shit gets real on January 5 when the Golden Globes kick off awards season. Awards season at DWB is FUN -- the live chats during red carpets and awards ceremonies are a blast -- so once again I remind you that [becoming a paid subscriber will enrich your life!](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/subscribe)!!!!!!!) We had a [vigorous chat here about people's favorite cookbooks.](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-whats-your-favorite-cookbook-11-2024/) Okay doke! (This piece doesn't mention something I've seen on the Bravo subreddit, which is that this place had VERY unpredictable hours, which surely also didn't help.) Somewhere in the Valley, Katie Maloney is cackling. \[Lainey\] Related: [Vanderpump Rules is getting an entirely new cast](https://socialitelife.com/bravo-is-rebooting-vanderpump-rules-with-a-brand-new-cast/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).
