Every time I get to Friday, I AM PLEASED.

Do you need a new day planner? [We rounded them up! (And the conversation about which was fun.)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-day-planners-10-2019/)

We also talked about [the nitty-gritty of self-care](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-practical-adventures-in-self-care-10-2019/).

Fascinating, at KCET: [The Complex Life of Griffith J. Griffith](https://www.kcet.org/shows/lost-la/the-complex-life-of-griffith-j-griffith?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Griffith is very famous here in Los Angeles -- our biggest park, and our famous observatory is named for him -- but I imagine very very few people are aware that he, uh, stole his wife's fortune and *shot her in the face.*

These are the logistics I'm interested in:[ Bathrooms at ‘Hamilton’: Can 200 women make it through 16 stalls in a 20-minute intermission?](https://www.inquirer.com/arts/theater/hamilton-forrest-theatre-philadelphia-bathroom-line-intermission-tips-20191022.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (This is in the Philadelphia Inquirer, but I remember getting in a HUGE line for the *Hamilton* bathrooms in New York and the woman running the line telling me, "don't worry. We've got this down to a science. You'll get through," and we DID. The woman running the line in Philly is similarly ON IT and she -- I say this sincerely -- deserves a raise and maybe a medal.)

At Lainey, [we've got some interesting Ben Affleck intel](https://pubx.co/zoBcvC?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

This is [a really good piece in *Marie Claire* about female presidential campaign staffers.](https://www.marieclaire.com/politics/a29492714/female-presidential-campaign-staffers-2020/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At The Mary Sue, intriguing: [Marvel Exploring Options to Replace Jeremy Renner in *Hawkeye* Following Allegations](https://www.themarysue.com/marvel-exploring-options-jeremy-renner/?utm%5Fsource=web&utm%5Fmedium=fuv&utm%5Fcampaign=linkswap)

This is quite worth a read, at the New York Times, and way more interesting than the headline indicates: [One Family Built Forever 21, and Fueled Its Collapse](https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/23/business/forever-21-bankruptcy-chang-family.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Really good, and mildly terrifying, at Fashionista: [Most Fashion Brands Don't Know Enough About Their Carbon Footprints to Actually Shrink Them.](https://fashionista.com/2019/10/fashion-brands-carbon-fooprints-reducing-emissions?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At Pajiba: [Pete Davidson and His Magical, Uh, Personality Has Been Romantically Linked to Another Celebrity](https://www.pajiba.com/celebrities%5Fare%5Fbetter%5Fthan%5Fyou/pete-davidson-and-his-magical-uh-personality-has-been-romantically-linked-to-kaia-gerber.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Alexandra Petri is a GIFT, and this is very funny, at WaPo:[ ‘The Social Network,’ rewritten to reflect the true origin of Facebook](https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/10/23/social-network-rewritten-reflect-true-origin-facebook/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At Celebitchy: [Alright, let’s talk about this stupid Selena Gomez-Hailey Baldwin drama](https://www.celebitchy.com/639555/alright%5Flets%5Ftalk%5Fabout%5Fthis%5Fstupid%5Fselena%5Fgomez-hailey%5Fbaldwin%5Fdrama/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

I should have done better at this quiz, at The Cut: [Are These *Town & Country* Cover Lines Real or Fake?](https://thecut.com/2019/10/are-these-town-and-country-cover-lines-real-or-fake.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Over at Socialite Life, wow: [Rose McGowan Suing Harvey Weinstein, Lisa Bloom for Intimidation.](https://socialitelife.com/rose-mcgowan-sues-harvey-weinstein/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I'm interested to see how this pans out.
