This is a LOT of dress on Kelly. Think I'm kidding?

...I mean, I guess it IS a night devoted to divas. But come on. People don't even need train-wranglers AT THE OSCARS.

One day, Brandy will share with us the magical concoction she uses to remain ageless and then we will forgive her for wearing an origami cocktail napkin.
She hasn't looked this good in a long time. Additionally, this haircut really works on her.
I feel so much more charitable about this now that I know the skirt isn't sheer. Something about the pleating made it look like the classic Maxi-Shirt/Spankies combo we've all come to know and loathe. It's still a little Fanciest Schoolteacher On the Prairie, but let's all just acknowledge that things could be worse.
Winter is coming.
Coming in February to a theater near you....Stacy Keibler IS Celine Dion in My Heart Will Go On (And On): The Celine Dion Story: I Rode An Elephant Into My Wedding And I'm Not Ashamed.

We've kind of been ignoring Paloma Faith here on GFY. I have no reason for that other than....you know, how many times can you say, "that dress would be great on a late season Alexis Carrington Colby Dexter Dexter Rowan?"

I am not sure that Elisha Cuthbert qualifies as a diva -- she must just be a diva-aficionado - and I am not ENTIRELY sure this is not a crop-top, rather than just an intriguing dress. BUT! She is kind of working it.

This is kind of cute, and she ALSO kind of looks like she might be having a business meeting with said late season Alexis CCDDR, during which they will probably throw chicken a la king at each other in some kind of competitive rage blackout.
She looks totally cute -- the dark hair is so much more flattering than her blonde period -- but I worry that the only wisdom Britney has imparted to her is, "y'all, stand as robotically and weirdly on the red carpet as you can so people feel uncomfortable looking at you and won't write mean things about your outfit. I do this by NEVER MOVING MY ARMS EVER."
This is quite lovely, but it seems extremely formal for the occasion, if you are not, in fact, in attendance as An Official Diva. Maybe Kemper was there as one of the founding members of Subtle Sexuality.

Whatever.
This is actually really quite cute, but I just don't have the energy anymore.
