We weren't supposed to see ANY pictures of Kate and William at this event -- and, in fact, no photos were taken (or released from, anyway) inside. Which is quite rude, given how we all feel about tiaras. Luckily, we did get some shots as William and Kate motored from Kensington Palace over to Buckingham Palace to hobnob with Granny and the rest of the diplomats invited to her big white tie diplomatic do. What Kate Wore has, as always, more info.
"This is what we load all our stuff in, Gran! And then we LUG IT UP A MOUNTAIN COVERED IN ICE!"
"I think I'll just stay home with my corgis, thanks."
In which this Dalek appears to want to get an up-close and personal look at Sophie's dress.
This coat/skirt/handbag combo is very charming.
So, Princess Letizia and Prince Felipe visited the US in November, and it did not get very much press. Which is a shame, because she spent the entire time looking totally chic. Like here, for example.
And here, in Los Angeles, even though the print on that dress looks a wee bit like a black hole is opening up over her crotch, which seems like a weird message.
This is very pretty as well; Prince Felipe looks as snazzy as ever, too.
I think she only packed that one pair of shoes. Royalty! They're just like us -- except for all the money and galas and tiaras and insane intrafamily dramz involving people being exiled from the country.
I might need that clutch.
And I DEFINITELY need that coat.
I am occasionally unmoved on the subject of matching one's belt and one's shoes, but MAN it works here.
Prince William popped out for some football. He looks all alone here, but he had people with him who have been cut out of the photo for maximum tabloid usage, in case someone needs to write a piece called SAD WILLS NOT SO SPORTING!
"Oh, thanks! I will totally let my small child, sole heir to the throne, ride around on a motorcycle!!"
In case you're wondering, Princess Beatrice wore something that involved grommets.
And Eugenie has moved to New York, where 90% of the photos snapped of her involve her on her cell phone -- so she is adjusting just fine, bopping around in a wine cardigan and booties.
I can't even pretend to understand what's happening here. But it seems amusing.
