Yes, her dress is covered in owls, and the way you feel about this, I think, probably depends on your feelings for owls. I personally hate birds but I LOVE owls, because you can't see their feet and of course because they brought me so many letters when I was at Hogwarts. So I actually kind of like this dress. It's weird. It's sort of eccentric. It's a bit Crazy Grandma. And I wish she were wearing different shoes with it. But I might be giving this Crazy Grandma the thumbs-up.
I also enjoy that Colin Firth is like, "gotta run. Here comes that OTHER GUY." Firth looks sharp as hell i his D&G, also. Damn.
He's got like 300% more hair than he did the last time we saw him.
When I was emailing Heather to tell her I was writing this, I typed, "I'm going to set Emma Stone," and then noted that I was delighted by how much she's been out and about lately. "Bless her hair," I typed. I, of course, meant, "bless her heart" -- in a totally non-sarcastic way, I swear -- but let's get real: her hair looks really great, and I'm using that. As far as the rest of this goes: Obviously I'm not as enamored of the sheerness of her shirt. But big points for those shoes. Always points for shoes.
