This has a really elegant vintage feel to it, and actually makes me think of Evan Rachel Wood (there is an echo of a resemblance there). I'm about three years over the platforms, of course, but overall, from this angle I bought in on this.

And then... I mean, it's a nit that I'm picking, but is the waist on that thing like a tiny amount too low? Should it be a wee higher? Why am I obsessed with this? Well, I fell down a weird "Is everything fitting correctly" rabbit hole that began with Elizabeth Banks and then ended with Willow Shields, and Jena got caught in the middle.

But this GORGEOUS dress is all weird right now, isn't it? The V-neck should come down lower -- maybe it was adjusted per her age, or specifications? -- and maybe the waist isn't quite... can't put my finger on it, but it might be that the volume of the dress isn't working on her exact frame. It's such a stunning fabric and SHE looks gorgeous and I just wish the two things had met in perfect harmony.

I mean... am I crazy, or am I correct? This should look better on her. It's totally changing her shape. Volume plays are fine, but this one is making her look squat, from most angles.

Except this one. I LOVE THIS PICTURE. At least we're ending on a glory note. She should've just refused to be photographed at any angle other than this one. It's great. It's like a perfume ad, and she's going to end up on a rain-soaked balcony in a black-and-white shot, while a Jonas brother sheds a single perfect tear and whispers, "Youth."
