For me, the white dress is potentially so cute that I don't understand why the eclipse needed to happen. Don't smoosh two dresses together when one of them is completely fine on its own.

This is making me reach for my SPF. I really, really want to lop off the sleeves and scrape back her hair (maybe), and then see where that leaves us. But it might not leave us anywhere but a rest stop on the road to someplace else -- the bodice of this dress seems a tad baggy in a bunch of weird places.

At least she didn't try it backwards.

Well, look, if you're going to get a belted jumpsuit past us, furry shoulders and a studded bag are probably the way to make it happen.

Part of me digs this, and part of me thinks I made this when I was eight and really into folding napkins when we had dinner parties.

And the shoes, in close-up, are more crackballs than from far away. They're a smart choice with the dress -- both have an aura of being a craft project -- but they're also sort of a chintzy-looking intersection of fashion and geometry. They are a bit like her style: I get where it's going, I don't hate all of it, but in the end it leaves me cold and kind of wishing we could just restart her like a PC and install some updates (and then probably restart again, because who are we kidding), and see if it runs smoother next time.
