Elle might well be the only person -- short of Elle Woods, actually, but given that she's fictional I can let that slide -- on whom I'd accept a pink satin gift bow.

It's such a silly furbelow, but her head looks GORGEOUS --seriously, did Sally Draper have a secret twin kicking around upstate somewhere? -- and the entire effect is as exuberantly young and girly as you could imagine. Cheers to her for not trying to jump straight to 29, like so many before her.

Of course, it's possible that I'm feeling favorably toward this outfit because of the juxtaposition here. This, indeed, is like the before photo of a girl who's just about to move to the big city in the hopes of making it in fashion...

... and this is the after shot, after she's been forced into working at an ice-skating-themed gentleman's club where "Scheherazade," a tango, and "Carmen" are done back-to-back 15 minutes and you had BETTER BE READY.
