Happy Friday, friends. I hope your weekend is restorative and fun.

At Drinks With Broads this week: We take on [the new *Downton Abbey* movie AND the new *Murderbot* project. ](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/this-issue-is-a-pop-culture-cobb) We rant about that [Elle piece about Jeff Bezos shooting Katy Perry into space.](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/do-you-like-space-do-you-want-to) And, of course, [THE WHITE LOTUS FINALE RECAP!](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/im-glad-you-have-a-beautiful-face) I believe paid subscribers will also be getting a special edition to discuss the season finale of *The Pitt* on Monday, so[ if you're into that, make sure you're on the list!](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/subscribe)

Here at GFY, we also rounded up [some of our faves from the Sephora sale.](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-the-sephora-sale-7-04-2025/) Did you buy anything fun?

And, elsewhere:

This is fun, at Long Live: [Dressing Like Chessy From The Parent Trap (1998) Will Heal Your Inner Child](https://longlive.substack.com/p/dressing-like-chessy-from-the-parent)

Teeny from *Survivor* 47 [wrote a wonderful essay for *Cosmopolitan* in which he comes out as a trans man, ](https://cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/celebs/a64411219/teeny-chirichillo-survivor-trans-coming-out-essay/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)and discusses how the path through that show — and the spotlight it later came with — brought them to this point. I appreciated this all the more having watched that season; it’s very well done .

One of you shared this last week and I knew I wanted to make sure everyone saw it: [Val Kilmer Asked Will Forte to Do ‘The Amazing Race’ Together; Their Agents Said ‘No Way’ and ‘It’s Maybe the Biggest Regret of My Whole Career,’ Says Forte.](https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/val-kilmer-will-forte-the-amazing-race-1236360329/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) WE WERE ROBBED. CAN YOU IMAGINE. I'm SO MAD we didn't get this.

Thanks to everyone's recommendations, I did buy [this linen dress from Quince and I REALLY like it](https://go.shopmy.us/p-15949143?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I like it so much that I am tempted to buy ANOTHER linen dress from them. [I love this patterned one,](https://go.shopmy.us/p-15949203?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) but [I am also into this strapless maxi.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-15949283?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Thoughts?? \[affiliate links\]

IMPORTANT, via (of course) the cheese subreddit: [I went to the restaurant with the world’s largest cheese buffet! Here’s what I picked.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cheese/comments/1jrpg1h/i%5Fwent%5Fto%5Fthe%5Frestaurant%5Fwith%5Fthe%5Fworlds%5Flargest/?utm%5Fsource=pocket%5Fsaves)

Interesting, at T&C: [How Winning a National Championship Changes Admissions at a School](https://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisure/sporting/a64345743/march-madness-college-admission-rate-explained/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Relevant to my interests, at Eater: [American Chips Are Getting Really, Really Beefy](https://www.eater.com/2025/4/9/24404668/american-chips-beef-doritos-hamburger-cheese-burger-flavor-lays?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At Texas Monthly: [I’d Give Anything to Eat Augustus McCrae’s Sourdough Biscuits from ‘Lonesome Dove’](https://www.texasmonthly.com/food/augustus-mccraes-sourdough-biscuits-lonesome-dove/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Apparently, [*Lonesome Dove*](https://go.shopmy.us/p-15970864?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) is hot again? I haven't read it in thirty years -- we read it in high school summer reading -- but I LOVED it when it did. I remember just devouring it one summer. Maybe it's time for a re-read!

This seems useful, at The Ringer: [Wait, What Do I Need to Remember From ‘The Last of Us’ Season 1 Again?](https://www.theringer.com/2025/04/09/the-last-of-us/the-last-of-us-season-1-refresher-hbo?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Thanks to the Fug National who [sent in this fun quiz about luxury hotels!](https://www.wanderlustmagazine.com/quiz/iconic-hotels-quiz/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Wanderlust\]

For some reason, I really love [this photo of Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone hanging out.](https://www.laineygossip.com/will-good-friends-emma-stone-jennifer-lawrence-be-in-venice-together-for-bugonia-and-die-my-love/80966?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Lainey\]
