Welcome to the end of another week. I hope you had a good one, and that your weekend will be delightful! I had a big week personally, because (as we discussed in the first post today, [which was a brag post, so get in there and brag on yourself!](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/this-is-a-cute-dior-on-emma-raducanu-12-2021/)) I was on last night's *Jeopardy!* It was SO FUN and I really encourage anyone who thinks they'd like to be on *Jeopardy* to try out. Thank you so much to everyone who has been so excited and supportive about it! You really made the entire experience so special. MOVING ON: Oh, we had a fun post this week where[ we shouted out our favorite small businesses](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-shout-out-your-favorite-small-shops-12-2021/)! We also talked about [our favorite charities and philanthropic organizations](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-today-is-giving-tuesday-11-2021/)! Great reporting from my friend Alissa Walker in NY Mag: ["‘The Mayor Knew’ Eric Garcetti’s top aide was a serial harasser, according to multiple accusers. The mayor, they say, ignored it](https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/12/mayor-eric-garcetti-accused-of-protecting-rick-jacobs.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)." I'm pretty steamed about this entire thing, although I hated him before this, and can't wait for Garcetti to get out of the city. (Does *everyone* hate the mayor of their nearest major metropolitan area?) This story will decrease your blood pressure, as it is delightful: [The ‘Mighty Mo’ begins her second century as a swimming champion](https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-11-27/maurine-kornfeld-swim-star-turns-100?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[LA Times\] I might be into this: [Awkwafina will fight vampires in upcoming Dracula film, Renfield, with Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage](https://pubx.co/1j9BHS?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Lainey\] I'm also at least *intrigued* by this: [Miley’s New Year’s Eve.](https://pubx.co/nfR5bO?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (Pete Davidson *will* be high, right?? He does not have NYE energy to me! I just started listening to The Dream podcast and I have THOUGHTS. It's SO interesting, thank you to whoever it was in here who originally recommended it. (He tells the story very well.)
