I just realized that Monday is Presidents' Day, so happy long weekend if you get the day off! I hope it's cozy and delightful for you regardless. Here's some stuff for you to read.

We got to go to the press preview for the Oscars Governors Ball this morning! [We rounded it up on our Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/fuggirls?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (it's in stories, but we've also saved it to our highlights in case you're seeing this late).

I rounded up[ some items you might want to buy for YOURSELF](https://www.gofugyourself.com/buy-yourself-a-valentines-day-present-02-2019?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

If you missed any of our Grammys coverage, [it all lives here](https://www.gofugyourself.com/tag/grammys?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

[Ditto the BAFTAs](https://www.gofugyourself.com/tag/BAFTAs?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)!

When I heard the Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston news, [I RAN TO LAINEY](https://pubx.co/3cBrRG?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (This is also[ a great run-down of all the celebs at Aniston's big birthday party](https://pubx.co/qqs4ta?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) I just want them to get together specifically for the gossip, honestly.

Related, at Celebitchy: [Brad Pitt sent a birthday gift to Jennifer Aniston’s house before her b-day party](https://www.celebitchy.com/609791/brad%5Fpitt%5Fsent%5Fa%5Fbirthday%5Fgift%5Fto%5Fjennifer%5Fanistons%5Fhouse%5Fbefore%5Fher%5Fb-day%5Fparty/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

This is A STORY! At The Guardian: [Archive shows medieval nun faked her own death to escape convent](https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/feb/11/archive-shows-medieval-nun-faked-her-own-death-to-escape-convent?CMP=fb%5Fgu&fbclid=IwAR0W2UcuBKViCFYZUHqhy9AOgur0bUBwrcSkNioEOsXUpT76EdsNwrMzJus&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Who hasn't?

The LA Times[ ranks fast food French fries.](https://www.latimes.com/food/la-fo-french-fry-rankings-20190212-story.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

It's true: [*The Thin Man’s* Nick and Nora Charles are Couple Goals.](https://www.themarysue.com/the-thin-man-nick-nora-charles-couple-goals/?utm%5Fsource=web&utm%5Fmedium=fuv&utm%5Fcampaign=linkswap) \[The Mary Sue\]

Speaking of Couple Goals,[ I enjoyed this essay from Mr. Serena Williams, Alexis Ohanian, about being a good partner.](https://www.glamour.com/story/alexis-ohanian-serena-williams-successful-marriage?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) He truly seems like a good egg. \[Glamour\]

At Vanity Fair: [It’s Good to be Regina King](https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2019/02/regina-king-cover?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

At Curbed, [this look at the 40s and 50s on Sunset Strip was really interesting](https://la.curbed.com/2019/2/14/18215017/sunset-strip-los-angeles-history-mickey-cohen?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

This is really good, at Catapult: [Your Hipster Kimchi Could Never](https://catapult.co/stories/column-noah-cho-bad-kimchi-your-hipster-kimchi-could-never??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

I loved this, at Hyperallergic: [The Clandestine Cultural Knowledge of Ancient Graffiti](https://hyperallergic.com/484163/the-clandestine-cultural-knowledge-of-ancient-graffiti/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). One of my favorite things about visiting Egypt was seeing all the graffiti there from like 1815\. (I mean, Egypt as a whole was fascinating but I did not expect to see that some young Leonardo had scratched his name all over the place.)

This is a great headline, at The Cut: [This Celebrity Tortoise Breakup Is Honestly Very Inspiring](https://www.thecut.com/2019/02/this-celebrity-tortoise-breakup-is-honestly-very-inspiring.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)
