Happy weekend, y'all! I hope you have something delightful planned. (And[ if you need a recommendation for....literally anything, we're having a very fun chat this week](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-get-a-random-recommendation-05-2022/).)

GREAT NEWS and I mean this sincerely:[ A Simple Favor is back!](https://pubx.co/RGST70?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) That movie is FUN and Blake is legitimately fantastic in it. \[Lainey\]

[This is a great list of beach reads](https://thestripe.com/great-books-to-read-on-a-beach-vacation/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and I'm not just saying that because *The Royal We* is on it (and called a classic!) -- although that IS my favorite part. Grace and I also have the same Jasmine Guillory favorite! \[The Stripe\]

Good question: [What’s Behind Fashion’s Rediscovery of the Bare Midriff?](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/11/t-magazine/midriff-spring-fashion.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[NYT Style Magazine\]

This is SO interesting, at the LA Times: [ Inside the NFL schedule war room — ‘making everybody equally disappointed’](https://www.latimes.com/sports/story/2022-05-09/2022-nfl-schedule-release-may-how-they-make-it??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Every sentence of this headline is beautiful: [Taco Bell fan Dolly Parton to star in *Mexican Pizza: The Musical.* ](https://ew.com/genre/musical/dolly-parton-taco-bell-mexican-pizza-the-musical/??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)\[EW\]

Aw, this is nice: [Tom Hiddleston confirms engagement.](https://pubx.co/42WfJD?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Lainey\]

This also makes me happy:[ For a Touch of Retro Whimsy, Restaurants Are Turning to the Illustrated Menu](https://www.eater.com/23068818/illustrated-menu-trend-manhatta-danny-meyer?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

News you can use: [Ariana Grande wore a sculpted bra top to her brother’s Star Wars wedding](https://www.celebitchy.com/766691/ariana%5Fgrande%5Fwore%5Fa%5Fsculpted%5Fbra%5Ftop%5Fto%5Fher%5Fbrothers%5Fstar%5Fwars%5Fwedding/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). As one does! \[Celebitchy\]

Do tell (also, this piece is very funny): [The Fascinating Mystery of Anna Wintour’s ‘Go-to’ Lunch](https://www.grubstreet.com/2022/05/anna-wintour-go-to-lunch-caprese-salad-order.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Grub Street\]

I chuckled: "[Where Have All the Darcies Gone?](https://www.theringer.com/tv/2022/5/11/23066893/hbo-mr-darcy-matthew-mcfadyen-colin-firth-succession-staircase?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io): Matthew Macfadyen and Colin Firth were once most recognized as the perfect embodiments of the glowering heartthrob in ‘Pride & Prejudice,’ but thanks to HBO, those fuzzy memories are dead." \[The Ringer\]

This felt slightly inevitable: [How Bad Is the Crypto Crash? Bad Enough that Matt Damon Is Trending on Twitter](https://www.pajiba.com/web%5Fculture/how-bad-is-the-crypto-crash-bad-enough-that-matt-damon-is-trending-on-twitter.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).
