Happy weekend, friends! Hope you are well, out there. If you're eligible for a Covid vaccine, and haven't gotten it yet, go get one! In the US, you can find one near you by texting ZIP code to 438829\. In most states, [you should be able to get it just at CVS](https://www.cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine?icid=cvs-home-hero1-link1-coronavirus-vaccine&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), too, which is where I got mine.

This was, for me, educational: [The Gaza doom loop: What’s happening in Israel and Gaza is the near-inevitable result of a grim status quo](https://www.vox.com/22430488/israel-gaza-war-2021-hamas-sheikh-jarrah?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[Vox\]

I've found [the Live Update page at the NYT](https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/05/14/world/israel-gaza-updates?name=styln-jerusalem-palestinian®ion=TOP%5FBANNER&block=storyline%5Fmenu%5Frecirc&action=click&pgtype=Article&variant=show&is%5Fnew=false&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) very useful in keeping track of what's happening in this conflict, as news is moving fast. Also at the NYT: [In Gaza, an Ordinary Street, and Extraordinary Horror, as Missiles Thunder In ](https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/13/world/middleeast/gaza-airstrikes-palestinians-israel.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (This is quite harrowing to read, as a warning.)

Interested in reading a really good interview? [Andrew McCarthy Revisits the Brat Pack](https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-new-yorker-interview/andrew-mccarthy-revisits-the-brat-pack?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[The New Yorker\]

ALSO related, I have so many questions about this: [Matt Damon on the OG Bennifer revival: ‘I hope it’s true, that would be awesome’](https://www.celebitchy.com/714608/matt%5Fdamon%5Fon%5Fthe%5Fog%5Fbennifer%5Frevival%5Fi%5Fhope%5Fits%5Ftrue%5Fthat%5Fwould%5Fbe%5Fawesome/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). MATT, you're FRIENDS with Ben, why don't you just CALL HIM? Now I'm worried about Matt and Ben! (Actually, now that I think about it, I'm sure Matt DOES know what's going on and Ben just told him to play dumb. Right? RIGHT?) \[Celebitchy\]

(Even in the late 90s, when I was still young.) Having said that, this is definitely a novel.
