Have a great weekend, y'all!

Charles Grodin died this week, which makes this a great time to revisit [this absolutely BONKERS piece he wrote about Miss Piggy for Vulture back in 2011](https://www.vulture.com/2011/11/charles-grodin-affair-with-miss-piggy-muppets.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). This man was a treasure. He -- and this is not a joke -- probably deserved an Oscar nomination for *The Great Muppet Caper.*

This was interesting: [The Psychology of Post-Pandemic Dressing](https://fashionista.com/2021/05/covid-19-pandemic-fashion-psychology?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Fashionista\]

A great piece from Evette Dionne at The Undefeated:[ Black women are more visible than ever. Now what?](https://theundefeated.com/features/black-women-are-more-visible-than-ever-now-what/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Fascinating and delicious: [The History of the Paloma, Summer’s Simplest Cocktail](https://www.texasmonthly.com/food/history-of-the-paloma-cocktail/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Texas Monthly\]

I LOVED this piece in the NYT: [Did the Pandemic Change Summer Reading for Good? I Hope So.](https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/19/arts/summer-reading-2021.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

I've got NOTES ON THIS, which basically boil down to the fact that I think Brian Moylan, who is very talented, has a pro-RHoBH bias that clouds his judgement and has led to too many RHoNY moments being rated lower than I personally would have done: [The 100 Most Unhinged, Unexplainable, Unforgettable *Real Housewives* Moments.](https://www.vulture.com/article/the-real-housewives-100-best-memorable-moments.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Vulture\]

Need I say more than: [Henry Golding is a hot ninja](https://pubx.co/iN4z5G?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[Lainey\]

At the NYT Magazine, this is very interesting: "[The Woman Who Made van Gogh](https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/14/magazine/jo-van-gogh-bonger.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io): Neglected by art history for decades, Jo van Gogh-Bonger, the painter’s sister-in-law, is finally being recognized as the force who opened the world’s eyes to his genius."

OMG look at [this 1976 picture of Martha Stewart and her](https://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisure/arts-and-culture/a36450191/martha-stewart-peacocks/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) geese, as her history with fowl is currently in the news. (Or, you know. "The news.) \[Town & Country\]

This is [a very interesting piece about Anne Boleyn's prayer book.](https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/hidden-inscriptions-discovered-anne-boleyns-execution-prayer-book-180977770/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Smithsonian\]

Basically...every entertainment company is merging right now. [Amazon, for example, is probably going to buy MGM.](https://pubx.co/VY9xcb?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Lainey\]

Every word of this headline is wild: [The Ruins Of A Swinging Seventies Spa That Kept A Siberian Tiger Behind The Bar](https://www.messynessychic.com/2021/05/12/the-ruins-of-a-swinging-seventies-spa-that-kept-a-siberian-tiger-behind-the-bar/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Messy Nessy Chic\]

I am sure I linked to this story when it (we thought) originally happened. And now: [The man who didn’t invent Flamin’ Hot Cheetos](https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2021-05-16/flamin-hot-cheetos-richard-montanez?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[LA Times\]

Interesting: [JLo vs. ARod: When a Power Couple Splits and the Media Battle Begins](https://www.pajiba.com/celebrities%5Fare%5Fbetter%5Fthan%5Fyou/jlo-vs-arod-when-a-power-couple-splits-and-the-media-battle-begins.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Pajiba\]

YES, BEN. Everyone's mind is!!!! \[Celebitchy\]

GOOD NEWS: [A Cher biopic is on the way from Mamma Mia! producers.](https://socialitelife.com/cher-biopic/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Our friend, the writer Abby Gardner,[ has a new pop culture podcast called We Have Notes](https://speakstudiopodcasting.com/wehavenotes?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I think you'll enjoy it!

Here at GFY, I rounded up a[ bunch of cute stuff you might need for summer](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-cute-things-for-summer-05-2021/), and we talked about [the silliest things we've ever bought](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/your-afternoon-chat-what-is-the-silliest-thing-youve-ever-bought-05-2021/).

And, finally, this is amazing:
