Happy Memorial Day weekend to my fellow Americans, and happy Friday to everyone else! In honor of the holiday, regular posting will resume on Tuesday; I hope you all have a fun and safe long weekend.

In case you need something to read:

\-- The *New York Times* [summer reading list is out](https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/25/books/books-to-breeze-through-this-summer.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)!

\-- Buzzfeed published [a long and very good piece about the on-going situation in Flint](https://www.buzzfeed.com/bimadewunmi/flint-isnt-ready-to-trust-anyone-yet??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) that I highly recommend.

\-- At Lainey: I am opposed to the fact that they're rebooting *Charlie's Angels*, again. Does everything need to be a reboot? There are a million good scripts out there. Jeez. HOWEVER.[ I am NOT opposed to this reboot, if it must happen, starring Janelle Monae, as is the rumor.](https://www.laineygossip.com/possible-new-charlies-angel-janelle-monae-at-lax-in-signature-colours/47101?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- Also at Lainey, [this hilarious Mariah Carey story is exactly what you need to get into the weekend](https://www.laineygossip.com/mariah-carey-wanted-to-deflect-bullets-like-wonder-woman-for-the-house-cameo/47103?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

\-- Really interesting about something you use every day, at Atlas Obscura: [Most of the World’s Bread Clips Are Made by a Single Company](https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/bread-tabs-clips-paxton?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- This is fab. [Gloria Vanderbilt is now on Instagram, via Town & Country](https://www.townandcountrymag.com/society/tradition/a9868295/gloria-vanderbilt-interview-instagram/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

\-- Via Celebitchy,[ apparently no one watched ABC's *Dirty Dancing* remake](https://www.celebitchy.com/536914/the%5Fdirty%5Fdancing%5Fremake%5Fwas%5Fa%5Fflop%5Fis%5Fanyone%5Fsurprised/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and, indeed, neither did I. Did you? I heard it was AWFUL.

\-- At Pajiba, this headline about the new *Pirates* movie, I suspect, says it all: [What in the Drunken Slurring F\*ck is Johnny Depp Doing In 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'?](https://www.pajiba.com/film%5Freviews/what-in-the-drunken-slurring-fuck-is-johnny-depp-doing-in-pirates-of-the-caribbean-dead-men-tell-no-tales.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- One of the women at Revelist [tried Twin Strangers, the website that finds your doppelgänger](https://www.revelist.com/internet/twin-strangers/7933?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I feel like this is how a horror movie starts, ladies!

\-- Super interesting and surprisingly juicy, at Racked: [LuLaRoe's Consultants Are Furious With the Brand](https://www.racked.com/2017/5/22/15640978/lularoes-consultants-unrest?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). SPIES are involved.

\-- Over at Into The Gloss, this is VERY useful: [How To Navigate The Beauty Section At T.J. Maxx](https://intothegloss.com/2017/05/tj-maxx-beauty/?utm%5Fmedium=itg&utm%5Fsource=aggregate&utm%5Fcampaign=partner&utm%5Fcontent=gfy). I never even thought of this idea and now I must.

\-- [The Stripe dives into the best self-tanners](https://thestripe.com/2017/05/my-favorite-self-tanners/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), a topic with which I am personally obsessed.

\-- I also [will ALWAYS read about face masks.](https://cupcakesandcashmere.com/beauty/the-face-masks-i-keep-in-rotation?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Cupcakes and Cashmere\]

\-- More News You Can Use, at Town & Country: [How to Clean an L.L. Bean Boat and Tote.](https://www.townandcountrymag.com/style/a9867492/how-to-clean-tote-bags/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

\-- At Design\*Sponge, [let's all make this stone fruit and burrata salad!](https://www.designsponge.com/2017/05/in-the-kitchen-with-a-delicious-summery-stonefruit-salad.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)
