This was an absolutely terrible week, from George Floyd's senseless murder at the hands of the police, the most recent in an impossibly long string of racist acts of murder and violence, to the continuing nightmare of this largely mishandled pandemic. I fervently hope that you're [registered to vote.](https://vote.gov/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I also gave money this week to [Minnesota Freedom Fund,](https://minnesotafreedomfund.org/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) which, in their words, "is a community based nonprofit that combats the harms of incarceration by paying bail for low-income individuals who cannot otherwise afford it," and [Reclaim the Block,](https://www.reclaimtheblock.org/home?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) a group that "organizes Minneapolis community and city council members to move money from the police department into other areas of the city’s budget that truly promote community health and safety."

This Google doc of [anti-racism resources for white people](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BRlF2%5FzhNe86SGgHa6-VlBO-QgirITwCTugSfKie5Fs/preview?pru=AAABcoVnEEc%2Ag%5FKKl6pycPL5FuYxjxWfWQ&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), complied Sarah Sophie Flicker and Alyssa Klein, has made the rounds this week, but if you haven't yet seen it or taken any time with it, it's very well worth your attention. In their own words, it "is intended to serve as a resource to white people and parents to deepen our anti-racism work. If you haven’t engaged in anti-racism work in the past, start now."
