Happy almost American Thanksgiving! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend.

From Elie Mystal at The Nation: [Kyle Rittenhouse Has Gotten Away With Murder—as Predicted.](https://www.thenation.com/article/society/kyle-rittenhouse-verdict/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

The ongoing story about [missing Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai is disturbing](https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/11/missing-tennis-star-peng-shuai-sends-suspicious-email.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), to say the least. \[NY Mag\]

This [story at Texas Monthly is an absolutely wiiiiiiiiiiiiild ride](https://www.texasmonthly.com/news-politics/the-notorious-mrs-mossler/??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and I hope Margot Robbie has optioned it, and I also hope it's being turned into a book: "In 'the trial of the century,' a Houston socialite was accused of plotting her husband's murder—and of having an affair with her nephew. But Candace Mossler was only getting started."

Really interesting (and appetizing!):[ For Many Members of the Arab American Diaspora, Mansaf Offers a Taste of Home](https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/11/t-magazine/mansaf-bedouin-rice.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[NYT Magazine\]

Lainey says [it's Lizzy Caplan week and I am *here for this.* ](https://pubx.co/oy5jbe?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)(And not just because Lizzy Caplan is one of those celebs who never comes out to stuff unless she is professionally obligated to but always looks great, which means I feel consistently a little deprived of Lizzy Caplan!)

CELEB BREAKUP KLAXON: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, surprising very few, [have officially closed up relationship shop](https://pubx.co/JlRcOv?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Relationshop? \[Lainey\]

In other relationship news, I am weirdly into this couple and I shall not be taking questions: [Pete Davidson spent his 28th b-day in Palm Springs with Kim Kardashian](https://www.celebitchy.com/742328/pete%5Fdavidson%5Fspent%5Fhis%5F28th%5Fb-day%5Fin%5Fpalm%5Fsprings%5Fwith%5Fkim%5Fkardashian/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (and Flava Flav?!!). \[Celebitchy\]

This is fun: [Big Shoulders and Lots of Vintage: How Lady Gaga Got Dressed for ](https://www.vogue.com/article/house-of-gucci-lady-gaga-costumes??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)*House of Gucci.* \[Vogue\]

I WILL do as requested here: [Watch J.Lo Bring Back the Mid-Aughts Rom Com in the Trailer for 'Marry Me.'](https://www.pajiba.com/film%5Freviews/watch-jlo-bring-back-the-midaughts-rom-com-in-the-trailer-for-marry-me.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Pajiba\]

Really interesting, at Publisher's Weekly: [Ghostwriters Come Out of the Shadows. ](https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/industry-news/publisher-news/article/87886-ghostwriters-come-out-of-the-shadows.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

Fascinating, at The Conversation: [How the Satanic Temple is using ‘abortion rituals’ to claim religious liberty against the Texas’ ‘heartbeat bill’](https://theconversation.com/how-the-satanic-temple-is-using-abortion-rituals-to-claim-religious-liberty-against-the-texas-heartbeat-bill-167755??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I ran across this piece via Hitha Palepu's newsletter, [5 Smart Reads, which I think you will really enjoy if you like Fugs & Pieces](https://hitha.substack.com/).

At Socialite Life, ENJOY:[ Jamie Dornan singing ‘Rainbow Connection’ as Kermit the Frog is what we didn’t know we needed](https://pubx.co/Ec0Idn?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

This seems true: [A Gravy Fountain Would Make Your Life So Much Better.](https://www.foodandwine.com/holidays-events/thanksgiving/gravy-fountain??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Food & Wine\]

A great interview [with J. Smith-Cameron at The New Yorker](https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-new-yorker-interview/j-smith-cameron-knows-what-youre-thinking-about-gerri??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).
