Happy Friday! This week was an absolute killer for me -- in the bad way, not the '80s slang way where, like, you'd say, "Jason's new Swatch is killer" -- and I hope yours was okay. I do have some interesting/fun stuff to distract you, if you need that!

Here at GFY, we rounded up [nifty whimsical Christmas ornaments, if you want to spend your feelings.](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-whimsical-christmas-ornaments-2-11-2024/) At Drinks With Broads:[ Hot Frosty Takes on The Merry Gentlemen In a Battle of Netflix Holiday Movies, and we sit down to figure out where Outlander left off.](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/hot-frosty-takes-on-the-merry-gentlemen) Also, I dove into [two new vintage cookbooks -- one of which is PACKED WITH RESENTMENT -- and Heather reviews *Emilia Perez.*](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/hollow-out-a-drumstick-this-thanksgiving) A big pre-Thanksgiving thank you to everyone who has subscribed this past year and a half! [**Your support literally make it possible for us to keep this show on the road.**](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/subscribe) Thank you!!!

\-- I found this entire Reddit conversation highly amusing: [Grilled cheese debate](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskFoodHistorians/comments/1gva67s/grilled%5Fcheese%5Fdebate/?utm%5Fsource=pocket%5Fshared) \[Ask Food Historians\]

\-- An absolutely fascinating piece at Cosmo [about luxury grocery shopping.](https://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/a62671359/tiktok-trend-luxury-supermarket-hauls/?utm%5Fsource=pocket%5Fsaves) Yes, it's a thing.

\-- J.Crew is[ having a pretty big sale right now.](https://rstyle.me/+-TowUG99GkASiYnbCfrtLg?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I realllly want [this sweater but it's spendy](https://rstyle.me/+%5FbRtpTbjBTsMIoR8Th4MuQ?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) AND my moths will eat it.... \[affiliate links\]

A Taste Test.](https://www.bonappetit.com/story/great-eggnog-taste-test?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (The best is ABSOLUTELY without question Broguiere's, which they didn't test because it's a local SoCal product and I don't think it's sold other places? I actually don't know. Either way, IT'S AMAZING, I need to remember to get some for next week.)
