We're at another weekend. I hope you're okay, but given...everything????....it's understandable if you are not. I'm mostly looking forward to my air purifier getting here!! Yes, we're still on fire!!!! 2020!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway. LATE ADD: [The profoundly awful news just broke that Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died](https://www.npr.org/2020/09/18/100306972/justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-champion-of-gender-equality-dies-at-87?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). "Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." Americans: We have to fight like hell for Biden to win this election. Period. \[NPR\] [Do you need a wine cardigan?](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-wine-cardigans-2-09-2020/) I rounded some up for you. This was an exceptional, and harrowing, essay from Emily Ratajkowski at The Cut: [Buying Myself Back: When does a model own her own image?](https://www.thecut.com/article/emily-ratajkowski-owning-my-image-essay.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (Trigger warning for sexual assault.) Really interesting, at The Atlantic: [Why Everything Is Sold Out](https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2020/09/pandemic-broke-online-shopping/616353/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I think a lot of people might relate to this: [I Don't Want Kids. But The Pandemic Has Made Me Miss Them A Lot.](https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/annaholmes/i-dont-want-kids-but-the-pandemic-has-made-me-miss-them-a?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Buzzfeed\] I am VERY HERE for a deep dive into[ the break-up of formerly ubiquitous NYC law firm Cellino & Barnes](https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/cellino-and-barnes-breakup.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (injury attorneys 800 888 8888!.) \[NY Mag\] SUPER interesting, at Vulture: [New York Rap Never ‘Fell Off’ — It Was Snuffed Out](https://www.vulture.com/article/giuliani-bloomberg-new-york-rap-essay.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I was quoted in [this piece about the majesties of *A Simple Favor*,](https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/a-simple-favor-blake-lively-queer-cult-classic?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) which is ALSO a hoot. \[Mel Magazine\] I forgot R Pattz and Suki Price Waterhouse Coopers were even dating until I saw [this photo of them making out in a London park with their masks hanging around their chins](https://pubx.co/HOOXpO?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[Lainey\] This is interesting and good; I could have read like four more pages of it. At Elle: [Bethann Hardison Never Wanted To Start A Modeling Agency](https://www.elle.com/fashion/a33967945/bethann-hardison-interview/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Well! I need this: [The Soothing Pleasures of “The Victorian Kitchen Garden,” a Vintage BBC Docuseries](https://www.newyorker.com/culture/annals-of-gastronomy/the-soothing-pleasures-of-the-victorian-kitchen-garden-a-vintage-bbc-docuseries?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[The New Yorker\] Teddi Mellencamp is the most boring Real Housewife, and now also THIS: [Teddi Mellencamp’s ‘Accountability Program’ Sounds Like Hell](https://www.thecut.com/article/teddi-mellencamps-500-calorie-diet.html??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[The Cut\] So, this is long but really REALLY good (with the full disclosure that I am not all the way done reading it yet but I assume it doesn't devolve into nonsense): [The Man Who Refused to Spy](https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2020/09/21/the-man-who-refused-to-spy??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[The New Yorker\] [Cardi B has filed for divorce](https://pubx.co/Mc3XdJ?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I'm looking forward to her break-up album. \[Lainey\] This is really logistics-y and interesting, at Forbes: [How The Minnesota Lynx’s All-Player Coaching Staff Hopes To Change The WNBA](https://www.forbes.com/sites/brendonkleen/2020/09/12/black-women-minnesota-lynx-coaching-staff-change-wnba/??ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I thought this was really interesting (and somewhat more complex than the headline implies): [Kristen Schaal Calls Out Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Over Political Inaction](https://www.pajiba.com/celebrities%5Fare%5Fbetter%5Fthan%5Fyou/kristen-schaal-calls-out-dwayne-the-rock-johnson-over-political-inaction.php?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \[Pajiba\] At Glamour: [It Took Divorce to Make My Marriage Equal](https://www.glamour.com/story/it-took-divorce-to-make-my-marriage-equal?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) At The Atlantic: [This Woman Surfed the Biggest Wave of the Year.](https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/archive/2020/09/maya-gabeira-surfed-biggest-wave-year/616216/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) The video gives me massive anxiety! Over at Celebitchy, I did not know how badly I needed this until I read the headline: [Lorraine Bracco is doing a home reno show for a house she bought in Sicily for a euro](https://www.celebitchy.com/681061/lorraine%5Fbracco%5Fis%5Fdoing%5Fa%5Fhome%5Freno%5Fshow%5Ffor%5Fa%5Fhouse%5Fshe%5Fbought%5Fin%5Fsicily%5Ffor%5Fa%5Feuro/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) This is [a really interesting piece about Buy Nothing groups](https://www.vox.com/the-goods/21427525/buy-nothing-gifting-facebook-groups-community-money-borrow-lend-trade?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), over at Vox. I know this is all SponCon for AirBnB and the *Fresh Prince* reboot but I'm still delighted: [Enjoy A Night In The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Mansion Thanks To Airbnb](https://socialitelife.com/enjoy-a-night-in-the-fresh-prince-of-bel-air-mansion-thanks-to-airbnb/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[Socialite Life\]
