I don't dislike this, but I'm not MADLY in love with it -- if only because the shape of this reminds me of very dramatic balloon-curtains, the kind you'd see hanging over the picture window in the bedroom of the teen-girl villain in a vaguely unsatisfying teen movie from 1988.

But this, I love. It's definitely quirky, but the shape is simple enough that it's not overwhelmingly so. I think it's fantastic on her.

And this is super charming -- although, if you watched it, you'll have to tell me if she was able to sit in it, because IT'S SHORT. Nothing is worse than sitting down in a short skirt and realizing everyone can see your undies. On TV. (This happened last week with the Broad City girls on Watch What Happens Live! Poor Ilana had to have her hand on her lap the entire time.)

I suspect the detailing on this is lovely in person, but the first thing I thought when I saw it was, "THAT'S Kardashian-y." Is that REALLY what you want to be conveying? Like, ever? I guess it is, if you're the house of Balmain. Which I just accidentally typed as "blamin," which...I mean, I do hold them responsible for this.

Recent Fugs and Fabs: Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot here is playing Wonder Woman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Whatever (I'm sorry; while I actually love Batman movies, I cannot seem to get it up for this one) and I am a big big fan of Wonder Woman in general. I mean, come on: What's not to love? We'll see how Gadot here stands up to the glorious likes of that, but thus far, her entire press junket for this flick has been mostly PATTERNS PATTERNS PATTERNS and my god, it's fun. The look she chose for the premiere yesterday isn't my most favorite favorite, but on the whole...I'm enjoying this. Let's look! [Photos: Getty]
