This is a VERY cheery umbrella, and you know you'll never get it mixed up with anyone else's. It's the sort of umbrella a superhero would carry.
It's at MOMA -- so it's also cheaper, if you're a member.

This is a semi-pricey version of this object, but I (Heather) was given one as a gift after our Afternoon Chat about butter -- and specifically, whether you are a fridge or counter person. This completely converted me to countertop. The butter is spreadable and perfect, and does not spoil which was my great fear. I was a little weirded out at first that the science behind it involves putting water in the dish, but that stopped bugging me as soon as I did it. All it does is help make a seal. It's so good.
Food 52 has a ceramic version that's cheaper but it has sold out already; this one comes in white or navy. You can find other so-called butter bells in other places, but since I can vouch for this handcrafted one... sold.
As Homer Simpson would say, "Now butter that bacon, boy."

This is cheap and cheerful and stripes, obviously, are always Fug Nation Approved.
J Crew Factory has your hookup.

It's not a gift guide around these parts if we're not peddling a jigsaw puzzle. This 1000-piece rager is such a visual feast. Don't you want to stand at every single one of them?
Put it together from Ravensburger, or anywhere else you can find it.

Heather just played Twister a week ago, in fact. SHE WON. Mostly because the beans think it's funnier to fall down. There's also a Holly Hobbie game in here. Everyone had forgotten about Holly Hobbie.
Reminisce over at White Mountain Puzzles.

This is SO CUTE -- both for the kids on your list and also maybe for dollhouse-loving creative grown-ups on your list. You can get it from my friends at Paper Source, where you will also probably end up buying like 100 other things.

Surely someone in your life wants a cuddly Karl. (He's 10.5," so he'll fit in your gym bag and judge you while you work out.) He currently lives at Paper Source.

#ClueForever
Get angry here, at the gloriously named Patti Lapel.

This woud be so cute with candies or jewelry inside it, but make sure to tell your loved one that they should also put it on their head every now and then to feel majestic. Thanks, West Elm!

We're pretty sure that wine-infused coffee fuses the two passions of MANY Fug Nationals.
Uncommon Goods is looking out for you.

This is both chic and delicate and ALSO seems like you do some damage if you punched someone wearing it. Think of it for your stylish but occasionally violent friend. Buy it at Madewell.

Of A Kind made it hard for us to pick just one thing. The watermelon & strawberry and hot dog and pretzel wrapping paper sets, which are $6 and come with two 22.75"x30" sheets of each pattern, are both cheerful and hilarious. The selection of cards is wide-ranging and occasionally very snarky. The striped glycerin soap, $14, we threw in because, well, it's Fug Nation. Stripes are our jam.
Jessie Spano and Tobias Fumke and most cards are $5. Full paper shop here.

We had similar issues choosing over at Blue Ribbon General Store. On the top left is a hangover kit, for $15, which is... exactly what it sounds like, basically. We also love Hudson's Bay stripes, and this $16 mug is a cheap and easy way to get them. Tacopedia is, in fact, an encyclopedia of tacos, covering the history of the food and a bunch of different recipes. It's $29 from Blue Ribbon; though it's cheaper on Amazon, I figured you might want a small-business alternative. And the binge-watching kit, which seems apt for the holidays, includes 18 things like warm socks, a snack clip, and a yoga guide, all for $22.

For the stylish Anglophile on your list. (If we may be so bold, this would be VERY cute if you bundled it with a copy of The Royal We.) J Crew has New York, Paris, and Rome shirts, but we were always going to suggest the London one.

We put something from Pop Culture Lab in here every year, because we just love their stuff. This year, it was a tough call -- we ALMOST went with their poster of Magical Objects from the Wizarding World, but this was irresistible. Basically, as you read each of these 100 novels, you scratch off the gold part of the poster to reveal a detail from the classic cover. If you've read them all, it'd make a great gift for a high-schooler in your life who's ready to hit up the classics. Scratch it here.

This bowl is SO pretty. (I -- Jessica -- love bowls, the better to put all my bracelets in one safe space.) You can get it with a white interior, a black interior, or a blush interior. Find it at Need Supply Co.

The pages inside are part blank, for you to ruminate, and part filled with amusing quotes pertaining to the cover lines. But obviously those covers are my favorite. We were all set with "I Need To Unplug" until we stumbled upon "I'm So Freaking Freaked Out." There's more beyond that, all by Knock Knock and all at Barnes & Noble.

This site does have non-cartoon socks, too -- and in fact, some cute logo Dodgers-wear, which is relevant to SOME INTERESTS -- but we found these the most hilarious, and could not choose which ones we liked best. LeBron is funny, but man, Rodman's green hair, or Larry Bird's mustache... and then the pair that's one Stockton and one Malone? Too good. Get them at Stance.

This watch is awesome -- for a lady or a dude -- and the price is excellent. We found it at Need Supply Co.

This is a Treat Yo Self -- or, call your parents/gift-giving relatives who splurge on you a bit -- type of thing. If you travel anywhere with the threat of rain, these are a dream: far less heavy than regular wellies, they are also flexible enough to roll up tight in your bag, and come with a drawstring sack that helps hold them to that size. They unroll perfectly uncreased. Jess has the red matte ones and Heather has the glossy green, and we both wore them all over London last April.
Some colors (like shiny orange, blue, and purple) are on sale on Hunter's website, or you can find them all on Zappos for the regular price if you prefer that shipping and return policy. The name is Original Tour for the matte (top right), and Original Tour Gloss for the shiny ones (all the other three).

These are just stupid cute. World Market brings the love.

Surely you know someone who would love this. That someone might be you. Get it at Anthropologie.

This will look so cute on your best friend's jean jacket, when she tells you all about how she's got the hots for this dude who leans beautifully. They're on sale at Casey Barber Shop (where you can also buy yourself some glorious Hamilton pins!)

Wildfang has a whole series of these candles -- obviously, our favorite features the Golden Girls, but they also have ones with Kanye on them, or Joan Jett, or Princess Leia -- and they are selling FAST, so do not delay. They await you here.

Liam walked in just as Heather was browsing this item, and immediately announced that he'd be getting one for Christmas. OKAY THEN. He declined to specify which color, so... you get what you get and you don't get upset, right? Let FCTRY light your fire.

Is it weird to suggest that, once the watercolors are all used up, someone could repurpose this as a clutch? Consider it a suggestion, but even if not -- this is charming, for kids and grown-ups alike. We found it at TenOverSix, and so can you!

We gave this away here on GFY earlier this year and it is CUTE and you know there's someone on your gift list who would LOVE IT. It's at Amazon right now.

Jessica happens to own this -- and keeps jewelry in it -- and it's great for your friend who MIGHT want to pretend she stole it from Her Majesty. WHO COULD BLAME HER? Get it from the Crown Collection and consider this your contribution to the upkeep of Buckingham Palace.

These are supposed to be some of the best blends out there; most people we know who love cooking are hooked on several of these. The Vietnamese Cinnamon, is a particularly decadent treat, and blends like the Greek flavoring come with directions for turning them into salad dressings. Arizona Dreaming is their salt-free taco seasoning, Chicago is mostly for grilling... honestly, you might just want to browse all their spices or some of their gift boxes. (They also have gift cards available.) FOOD!

This thing means business. Heather got one for Christmas a year or two ago, and primarily uses it for dicing onions because her eyes are REALLY SUPER EXTRA SENSITIVE to them. But it also works for chopping tomatoes and garlic into the beginnings of bruschetta. (The blade is no joke, so get some of those wire bottle-cleaner brushes to scrub it so that you don't have to get too close to it. PRO TIP: Heather also uses those on her meat tenderizer, which, yes, she actually uses as a potato masher. We don't know.)
Sur La Table has it, but we're pretty sure you can find it other places too.

SURELY you know someone who'd like to celebrate the glories of proper grammar with a set of cute pencils. We found these at Etsy, the land of cute personalized pencils. PENCILS!

Lauren Graham is every bit as charming and smart as you imagine her to be, if not more. This book and her fiction debut, Someday, Someday, Maybe, are a superb way to spend a chilly winter day (or a hot one, as the case may be). We've also heard good things about her reading of the audiobook, which reportedly involves singing. Hey, she WAS on Broadway. Talking As Fast As I Can (hard cover) Someday, Someday, Maybe (paperback)

That seems like an awfully good deal for coating anyone's toes in cashmere. Garnet Hill has them for men and for women -- although if you can find your size and preferred color in the other gender's group then why restrict yourself? -- and that price is a sale price, so get thee to some foot warmth.

These are on the pricier side, but they are AMAZING. For the baseball fan in your life. Here are the deets per Uncommon Goods' informative caption: "a beautifully detailed blueprint that honors each stadium's unique history and architecture in classic style. The illustration is accompanied by your favorite stadium's design specs and highlights of major events, while an antiqued finish that evokes the look of a vintage document. Printed on museum-grade, archival paper and framed in black BonanzaWood® using acid-free archival board." They have basically any stadium you would want. (Uncommon Goods also sells blueprints of college football stadiums, but they do not have the Rose Bowl, which is insane; it is Jessica's college football stadium, so we are biased, but it's also definitely one of the most famous ones in the world. J'ACCUSE!) At Uncommon Goods. SOMEONE wants the Dodgers Stadium one!

Leave it to Boden to make a Breton-striped throw. It's GORGEOUS. (And on sale, although not cheap.)

If you write a lot of thank-you notes, or Buzz Off Now Please notes, or really ANY kind of personal correspondence, these may come in handy. They sell smaller quantities, too, but this works out to nineteen cents a card, which... they're practically GIVING them away. You could throw in with some friends and each divvy up the spoils. Go floral here.

For the Elaine Benes in your life. At Waiting on Martha.

We love the idea of a book about health being carved out to hide a flask. Secret Safe Books has a TON of other ones, too (by everyone from HP Lovecraft to JK Rowling, to Sarah Palin, to HRC and Obama), and the flask is included. You never know when you'll need reinforcements on your shelf. Below those are keepsake boxes, which stay closed even when standing on a shelf. The bottom left is a Sherlock Holmes one, and the bottom right, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban . You can hide your Patronus in there. Flask boxes are here; keepsakes are split between classics and pop culture/contemporary.

Because why hold food AND your wine, when you could do the same job with one hand and keep the other free for shoveling said food into your mouth hole?
Snack safely at Catching Fireflies.

Just in case you have a bottle from a special occasion that you want to save. Plug it and let 'em burn. Fancy has you covered.

These seemed important somehow. Land of Nod has them here.

Obvs, we are in love with the idea of a tea featuring the Dowager Countess and Isobel chatting in the garden. That one, and many more, is available from Republic of Tea. World Market also carries some different Republic of Tea Downton blends -- I assume the Crawley sisters features tastes that compete heavily and somewhat rudely in your mouth -- like Mrs. Patmore's Blueberry Scone Tea. Or, for more like $5, you could buy preserves and lemon curd. All World Market's Downton stuff should show up here.

This might be my our mantra. Adopt it yourself here. (We also enjoy GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN DAMENTAL RIGHTS.)

Because, in an age where Breitbart peddles nonsense like 'Why Women Shouldn't Be Allowed To Learn Science,' we should all be reminded that F*CK YES WOMEN SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LEARN SCIENCE, AND ALSO EVERYTHING.
#NastyWomen buy books about Bad Girls Throughout History.
We highly recommend In The Company of Women.
Women in Science are awesome. Buy an also awesome book about them here.

MIGHT be?!? Tantalize people here (there's also one for vodka, and beer).

Stick her in the window, and she'll royal wave all day. World Market also had some where she's in pink and blue, but only in-store; the red is available direct from Kikkerland.

STAY ALIVE, RBG. Also, the hardcover is actually even a couple cents cheaper than the Kindle version, if you're into tangible books. (Which make better gifts, anyway!)

These are amazing, and they're only a drop in the bucket; the SparkleNest Etsy store has two pages of different Harry Potter posters, and different suggestions for how to cluster them. The House logos are great, the single of Harry is good, there's a Bellatrix, a Mad-Eye, a really eerie one of the Sorting Hat.... The one of Snape on the left might be ou favorite. Check out the entire stash, then click to see the Sherlock and Star Wars prints too.
The catch: The site says there's only one of each (most?) of them, but if one sells out, I'd advocate e-mailing the seller to see if special orders can be made.

The Gap, as usual, has a variety of snuggly looking wine cardigans, but we picked this one because... we don't actually think I even need to tell you. Stripe it up or shop around on Gap.com

May we be so bold as to suggest you would enjoy The Royal We? It's actually rather pertinent now that Harry has found himself a controversial (to some) American girlfriend and spoken out for her honor. All versions are available: hardback, paperback , Kindle and Audible.
