Marc Cherry, of Desperate Housewives fame, created *Why Women Kill* for CBS All-Access -- which is where all its shows about complex women live, so that *MacGyver* and *Hawaii Five-O* can have plenty of broadcast space! -- and it's set in three time periods: the 60s, the 80s, and today. The log line is, per Wikipedia, "The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal... has not." It's true. I have murdered COUNTLESS people this way.
