Matthew Williams is gone after a mixed three-year tenure, and it seems Givenchy hasn't replaced him yet. So the creative team that IS in place there seems to have kept things very simple and gone back to basics -- and it may be working? While this isn't the most exciting collection, it's also not horrifying, and doesn't feel alien to the house's core aesthetic.
