These two ladies hosted -- so, basically, introduced all the video packages except for the first (on Elmhurst, which EIC Samantha Barry did). They did a very nice job, but as I said to Jessica, I would have reacted to these outfits if they were on a red carpet and thus I shall react here: While visible boning is never my jam, Halle's (on the left) suit looks crisper to me than her sister's outfit, which looks like it was repurposed from some torn tights. And while they do at least appear in communion with each other in this shot...

It's the close-ups where it really made a difference. Cut off thusly, Halle on the left (I think I have this right -- I've never seen them apart!) looks more glamorous, and Chloe's top reminds me of when people wore low-rise jeans and would sit down and their lace thongs were fully showing. It's very distracting. Which matters at stuff like this.

Halle's does look a bit big -- long in the arms for sure. I also was pleased to get ONE full angle so we could note that Chloe's shoes need an upgrade, too.

Elle, representing sponsor L'Oreal Paris, presented an award to an everyday hero, and it was a segment that it genuinely feels like they shot while she was already on set doing something else for them. There was not much thought put into this backdrop, and her outfit ALSO looks sort of weird cut off this way. I want the camera to back out a LITTLE, or else for her to be wearing something where we at least see the whole neckline.

Also, they really needed to come up with a better way to shoot her chatting with this woman.

Holly looks like she's in the set of her own Quibi show called, "Peete After Me," where she gives people really gentle pep talks.

Charlize seems to be shooting this next to her hallway built-ins, right before yoga.

I love her. I wish her shirt would have reclaimed its right-side ruffle.

It would've been great to see this entire outfit. The color is great on her, but I wish it were a genuine cape instead of that Kardashian-popularized thing where she's taking the coat merely as a suggestion.

Ryan only just now noticed that his lamp is crooked.

And he looks delightfully warm and dapper, and his outfit pops against the backdrop. Well PLAYED, sir.
