This is... egregious, right? I looked at this and genuinely thought one of her shoulders was hella swollen for a second. Then I parsed that the top is cut differently, and THEN I saw the maw of a crocodile in there, and by then my mind was done. I don't understand this decision. I also think her hair and makeup look like they were conceived with a different dress in mind -- that snake green and black netting would seem to demand something edgier than pale pink lips, no? A rare miss for a queen.

And then her makeup is fine, but her dress looks like someone placed it in onto her for a pretend wedding photo -- like when you'd get those old-timey pictures at Madame Tussauds and they put costumes on over your actual clothes. It also appears to have been hemmed with a butter knife.

I thought this was going to turn out to be Giambattista Valli. Anyway, there are all these rumors right now that she's pregnant, because she wore a really flowy dress to the VMAs and I guess there are some paparazzi photos, etc. This dress neuters the conversation somewhat -- like, I can see it being good camouflage if she is, but it also makes the argument that she isn't? It works both ways. Time will tell!
