Globes 2019: The One With Julia and Charlize

Stella is usually terrible at pants, so I have to give her credit for those fitting. On TV, the top seemed more blush than beige, but that putty-colored belt -- which isn't sitting quiiiiite where it ought; it's not covering the seam completely on one side -- is a bit depressing. In sum, I appreciate this unusual effort from J.Ro, but some of it washes her out, and I would've loved to try it in a color or with better makeup.

Constance Wu and Heidi Klum also wore bodices where you could see the boning; all three were different designers. All three should APOLOGIZE TO THESE WOMEN, but KiKi's might be the most woeful of them all. WHO DID THIS TO THIS LOVELY WOMAN.

I like this. I think her lips needed to be more red than mauve (?). So why am I not happier? Well, the top looks like a really, really nicely cut bathing suit. And a) I don't have one of those and would like one, and b) it makes me feel like she's going to rip off the skirt and join a swimsuit contest like in the Catskills episodes of Mrs. Maisel. It's distracting, and maybe a necklace would've helped it feel less... underdone?
