Whereas this... I am thrilled Charlize veered into kelly green. And that part of the dress is gorgeous. Imagine if the REST of it looked like that, instead of the boring corsetry.

All the wins for Rocketman delighted me, as did Elton's truly enormous glasses. I like that he kept it simple so that his rocket pin would stand out, and that David picked up the slack there.

Well. What can one say about Salma Hayek. This dress has to have been born on her body, because while it is serving EVERYTHING, it's also not pinching any of it, nor does it seem in danger of structural collapse. She is just... insanely genetically blessed. Her cleavage is mesmerizing. I don't know what else to say. I'm pretty sure she'd be okay with that. You don't wear this dress if you aren't also thinking, "Guess whose cleavage is mesmerizing? MINE!!!!"

Fendi is really trying to get out there now. This suits Lisa, but I also think there are nice elements on it-- like that hem -- that are underserved by it basically being an ode to someone's favorite plant that died while they were on vacation.
