Amirah looks awesome. (I know her from How To Get Away With Murder, which of course I still watch, on which she plays a badass attorney.) Her stylist Zadrian Smith (who also did Virginia Gardner coming up in a minute) posted pictures along with letters to each woman about how she inspires him, with exuberant thank-yous to his team as well. It's pretty cool.

This is phenomenal. It's SO GOOD; possibly one of my favorites from the night. Eloquii is an online plus-size retailer, and good on them for giving her a goddess experience. Look what a glory moment high-fashion designers could have, if they only cared enough to reach for it.

Kirby Howell-Baptiste

If you watch The Good Place, you will recognize her as Simone, Chidi's Australian girlfriend. She was so charming on that show, and I'm delighted to see her here -- and to learn that apparently Kristen Bell must have loved her, too, because she's in the Veronica Mars reboot. The dress is neat, but the clunky shoes are too heavy.

She's in Runaways, and is quite good on it, although the end of season one fell apart a bit for me. (I haven't started the new episodes yet.) She reminds me SO MUCH of Ava Philippe, and this dress is superb on her. Lots of sternum but in a way that manages to look sexy and sleek rather than perilous.

Yay, another little-seen brand making an appearance -- in fact, we had a lot of unusual ones in here. I don't know if I like this as a cream-based dress as much as I would have if it pulled one of the colors in the top, but that is picking ye olde nit.
