It's very youthful, and it's also a bit mid-90s, to me, in spirit. ## Betty Gilpin ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746p-1532925961.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746p) Betty Gilpin Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 But then WHAT IS THIS. It's not '80s thematic, so there goes that excuse. She looks like she lost a dare involving a weight-training onesie, a Kardashian waist-trainer, a designer lobster net, and a cummerbund someone's kid wove at camp. ## Sydelle Noel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746l-1532925942.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746l) Sydelle Noel Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 Those shoes are more involved than I PERSONALLY would wear, but she looks pretty fantastic in all this anyway. ## Britney Young ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746j-1532925933.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746j) Britney Young Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 She looks good, too -- sunny and bright and happy. And she's a good storyteller, [as borne out by her Glamour essay](https://www.glamour.com/story/britney-young-glow?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Between that and Betty Gilpin's various pieces ([NYT, about her house](https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/19/arts/television/glow-netflix-betty-gilpin.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and [Glamour](https://www.glamour.com/story/glow-star-betty-gilpin-what-its-like-to-have-pea-sized-confidence-with-watermelon-sized-boobs?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)), I am here for the GLOW cast writing anything it wants. ## Jackie Tohn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746at-1532925924.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746at) Jackie Tohn Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 I love the shoes, and I like the pattern on the blouse, but... is it open down to her waist, or is that... what is going on there? We need way fewer neck bows and way more of a comprehensible neckline. ## Britt Baron ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746o-1532925951.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746o) Britt Baron Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 And she's dressed basically exactly like a twenty-something actress who just got her big break. It feels like it's in the handbook. ## Monique Coleman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746an-1532925904.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746an) Monique Coleman Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 But then BAM, Monique was all, "If I am putting roller skates on then I am going AT LEAST PARTIAL *XANADU*." ## Scott Porter ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746ao-1532925913.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746ao) Scott Porter Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 George Tucker also tried to embrace the mood, but I think he should've done it in spandex metal-band leggings. ## Kat Graham ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746af-1532925894.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Chelsea Lauren/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9773746af) Kat Graham Netflix 'Glow' roller skating event, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 29 Jul 2018 Of ALL the people I would've expected to get costumey at this thing... but alas, Kat Graham only really leaned into shoulder pads. Maybe next time. (Do we really think she rollerskated in this? No, right? No.) [GLOW Had a Roller-Skating PartyAnd I can't tell if it had a dress code.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2018/07/shutterstock_9773746aa-1532925884.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/glow-had-a-roller-skating-party-07-2018/)
