Maitreyi Ramakrishnan

So, so gorgeous. I'm leading off with one of the best of the night, but how could I make you wait for this?

Cynthia Erivo

I know it's GRAPES and not OLD DRAPES, but something about this feels like Fraulein Maria took it upon herself to redo the bottom of this outfit.

Saweetie

The nipples are a distracting choice.

Eugene Lee Yang

Eugene has been walking art this year, and this is no exception.

Karrueche Tran

I would like this a lot better if it weren't satin.

Xochitl Gomez

I might've gone with a contrasting shoe, and a tiny wee hoik.

Michelle Yeoh

The mother of the bride arrived at brunch and the whole room stopped and said, "Well, DAMN."

Avan Jogia and Halsey

These two are a VERY well-dressed couple. Wow.

Steven Yeun, Joana Pak

He looks as he always does, and she looks like someone talked her into something.

Lisa Ling

This is a very gentle take on a toga.

John Cho

Yes. Just yes.

Padma Lakshmi

Simple but effective.

Iman Vellani

This is both pretty on Iman, and yet also like, "LOOK AT THE BOOB FLOWERS."

Luciane Buchanan

Picture it: Pac Man from a dark realm chomps, chomps, chomps its way north to a disco basket of fruit.

Leah Lewis

That's lovely -- a very effective use of sheers.

Margaret Cho

I did not recognize her.

Avantika

The top here is fussy, like napkin art, but the print on the fabric is cool.

Sherry Cola

Whither pops of color?!? I am boring about that, I know, but this to me needs a kick. Especially at an event where everyone else seems a bit more dressed-up; this screams Variety Power of Women Breakfast to me.

Lucy Liu

I love her, and wish this sat up higher on her. It's just too lackluster for Lucy.

Laya DeLeon Hayes

Once again my anti-satin predisposition comes into play. I really want that bodice to be... anything else.

Harry Shum, Jr.

I don't love black and blue together very often, either, but that jacket is SO cool. What if I pretend the pants are... very deep navy? What if they ARE?

Bobby Berk

I don't know what shoes I DO want, but... they are not these.

Poorna Jagannathan

This is beige in an unthrilling way.

Sarayu Blue

This is NOT beige in a VERY thrilling way. Love it.

Jessica Wang

This is quite neat, and more sculptural than you tend to see at one of these. I wonder if it detaches so she can eat dinner without her tablemates thwacking into it.

Rupi Kaur

However, if THIS detaches for dinner... there might not be anything left.

Alicia Hannah-Kim

This is stunning. At first I didn't know why the top looked... olive, or maybe a tiny bit brown, but then I looked closer and the top of the skirt is both that color AND black, so it does tie in better than you think.

Kristi Yamaguchi

Those flowers are beautiful; I wonder if they're hand-painted.

Chloe Kim

Very pretty. I also keep expecting her to be blond, even though it's been a a while since she was. She just lodged in my brain that way, I guess.

Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani

Alex Shib is filling our Blond Olympian quota today. Maya's outfit is interesting, but also a random-seeming assemblage. Like she threw on a skirt over a bathing suit. OR OVER A SKATING COSTUME. You know, in case an ice-dance-fight breaks out, as we all PRAY it will.
