Megan Thee Stallion in Quine Li

If this just rolled down past her boobs, we might be having a different conversation. All that compressed underboob is such a bummer. This is like a large mouth with two prominent front teeth. It's unsettling somehow.

Megan Suri

What is UP with women named Megan wearing flotation aids to this?

Poorna Jagannathan in Gaurav Gupta

DRAMA. Yes, please.

Tayme Thapthimthong

Gaitok looks SO handsome. He was cute on White Lotus but I think because his character was so indecisive and almost meek, it felt like hiding his light under a bushel.

Richa Moorjani

She looks great, sheers notwithstanding. It's at least interesting workmanship on that skirt.

Sherry Cola

I frankly love this. The outfit itself is beautifully tailored, it's a rich color, her lipstick is amazing. I don't know what the headpiece is referencing, if anything -- other Fug Nationals surely will -- but looks perfect on her. This is very Met Gala West, to me.

HER

I like this well enough, but it might be a hair small on the chest.

Lilly Singh

This is very Star Wars. She owns a formal supper club somewhere on Tattooine.

Darren Barnet and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan

They are co-stars -- I do not BELIEVE they are also dating, but I guess it's possible? Everything here is polished and pretty.

Harry Shum Jr. and Shelby Rabara

Whereas these two are married, and they ALSO look polished and pretty. Her hat is so jaunty. We don't get a lot of JAUNTY on the red carpet if it's not a kitschy event.

Woody Milintachinda

That seems too short to be a take on a traditional fisherman's pant, but maybe? the coat is gorgeous, but it's a scrolldown for me.

Kyra Machida

This is an interesting piece -- it looks like a hybrid of a traditional design and those Rick Owens dresses people keep wearing. The peeks of embroidery are very pretty; the peeks of crotch maybe less so?

Hayley Kiyoko

This is cool on her.

Rowoon

That's a snazzy use of metallics.

Chloe Kim

Hmm. This comes off like someone made her a boob bib because all that ruching was too sheer.

Eileen Gu

This is athletes' row. Next up is Eileen, who looks very nice and very restrained.

Jordan Chiles

I love her. I do not love overly formal bathing suits.

Allyson Felix

She is so cool. This is Sandy from Grease if she became the T-Birds' accountant. (They surely need one. All those auto repairs!)

The Dark Side of the Gold House Gala

Color-wise, I mean.
