(Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) This gown was repurposed from a 20-year old sari, [as explained on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/DYKn--wDd8Q/?img%5Findex=1&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); the hand-embroidery is all by women. It's gorgeous, and gorgeous on HER. (Not to be confused with H.E.R., who is in the other slideshow.) ## Da'Vine Joy Randolph ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275399242-1778441182.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Da'Vine Joy Randolph attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) She might need to change stylists. Someone is asleep at the wheel. ## Sherry Cola in Ashlyn New York ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275399021-1778441123.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Sherry Cola attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) This is groovy on her -- it's perfect and crowned by that strong lip. Kudos to her styling team. ## Ejae in custom Leje ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275399126-1778441138.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: EJAE attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Is this pale blue? I thought it was screamingly shiny-white but maybe not. Well, we're here now. [The designer said there are more than a thousand pieces of mother-of-pearl in this](https://www.instagram.com/p/DYJ8bukFEqM/?img%5Findex=1&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but it's VERY bridal to me. Maybe too bridal. ## Chrissy Teigen in Aisté Hong ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275436390-1778441196.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend attend the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I guess I could have put Chrissy in the colors post, too, but three out of four chunks of this photo are neutrals, so again, here we are! Hers sits so low that I think she needed a neck adornment of some ilk. But is IS convenient to wear a beanbag chair; you can just plop down when your feet hurt. ## Eugene Lee Yang ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275450875-1778441041-1778447089.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Eugene Lee Yang attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) He always goes big; I would be crushed if he didn't. I am not sure about the art-class sculpture on his head, but the dress is striking. And he's sporting the dipped-finger trend we saw so much of at the Met. Maybe he WAS in art class. ## Bella Poarch in Phan Huy ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275393788-1778441108.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Bella Poarch attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Brianna Bryson/WireImage) This is also technically metallic but it also lets so much of her skin-tone through that it reads neutral. Let's be real, I was also just trying to balance the slideshows. ANYWAY: Her undies are neutral-toned, something I wish I did not have to know. ## Suni Lee ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275399170-1778441152.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Sunisa Lee attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Oh my god, and is this skirt navy? I FIRE MYSELF. Whatever; it mostly reads black, and the top IS black, actually I think might have been more striking if the contrast there were greater. Imagine a fuchsia skirt! ## Charles Melton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275399223-1778441172.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Charles Melton attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I see you, cleavage. ## Ken Kirby ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275447699-1778441208.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Ken Kirby attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) And HELLO, PITT NIGHT SHIFT. He looks excellent. The peeks of color are very alluring, unless that is just his vibe. ## Janel Parrish ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275448194-1778441223.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Janel Parrish attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) This is obviously intentionally designed to be slightly askew, but the effect is... that it looks slightly askew. ## Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275451452-1778441233.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: (L-R) Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley attend the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Very pretty. Hayley was honored, and performed at the party. I always associate her more with a rocker edge, so this glam gown is a fun switch. ## Leah Lewis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275454523-1778441255.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Leah Lewis attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I assume the inspiration for this was "complicated murder board." ## Agnez Mo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275456179-1778441269.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: AGNEZ MO attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I want to know more -- or mo, if you will -- about the bracelet, but that's about it. ## Simu Liu ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275456599-1778441281.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Simu Liu attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Fabulous suit. Well played sir. A lacy look I can get behind. ## Daniel Dae Kim ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275457564-1778441301.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Daniel Dae Kim attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Excellent. Akin to a suit in the other slideshow, MAYBE a bit Beach Wedding, considering how fancy a lot of these other outfits got. ## Dianne Doan and Manny Jacinto ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275459227-1778441313.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Dianne Doan and Manny Jacinto attend the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I wish her textured ruffles were gold. ## Liza Soberano in Phan Huy ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275462439-1778441367.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Liza Soberano attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) I love the fan motif on this; it's creative and cool if perhaps a challenge for sitting. ## Lauren Tsai ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275460174-1778441323.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Lauren Tsai attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) This also feels somewhat inspired by fans, but... more sloppily. ## Ji-young Yoo in Phan Huy ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275460422-1778441334.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Ji-young Yoo attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) This is so pretty. It might've been cool if it were diamonds all the way down, but I'm not upset that it isn't, if that makes sense. ## Anna Cathcart ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/05/GettyImages-2275461561-1778441346.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 09: Anna Cathcart attends the 2026 Gold Gala at The Music Center on May 09, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Taylor Hill/FilmMagic) Put that toddler tutu out of its misery. [Let Us Not Be Neutral About the Gold Gala NeutralsIf possible.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2026/05/gettyimages-2275380584-1778441091.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/let-us-not-be-neutral-about-the-gold-gala-neutrals-05-2026/)
