Priyanka Chopra in Amit Aggarwal

This gown was repurposed from a 20-year old sari, as explained on Instagram; the hand-embroidery is all by women. It's gorgeous, and gorgeous on HER. (Not to be confused with H.E.R., who is in the other slideshow.)

Da'Vine Joy Randolph

She might need to change stylists. Someone is asleep at the wheel.

Sherry Cola in Ashlyn New York

This is groovy on her -- it's perfect and crowned by that strong lip. Kudos to her styling team.

Ejae in custom Leje

Is this pale blue? I thought it was screamingly shiny-white but maybe not. Well, we're here now. The designer said there are more than a thousand pieces of mother-of-pearl in this, but it's VERY bridal to me. Maybe too bridal.

Chrissy Teigen in Aisté Hong

I guess I could have put Chrissy in the colors post, too, but three out of four chunks of this photo are neutrals, so again, here we are! Hers sits so low that I think she needed a neck adornment of some ilk. But is IS convenient to wear a beanbag chair; you can just plop down when your feet hurt.

Eugene Lee Yang

He always goes big; I would be crushed if he didn't. I am not sure about the art-class sculpture on his head, but the dress is striking. And he's sporting the dipped-finger trend we saw so much of at the Met. Maybe he WAS in art class.

Bella Poarch in Phan Huy

This is also technically metallic but it also lets so much of her skin-tone through that it reads neutral. Let's be real, I was also just trying to balance the slideshows. ANYWAY: Her undies are neutral-toned, something I wish I did not have to know.

Suni Lee

Oh my god, and is this skirt navy? I FIRE MYSELF. Whatever; it mostly reads black, and the top IS black, actually I think might have been more striking if the contrast there were greater. Imagine a fuchsia skirt!

Charles Melton

I see you, cleavage.

Ken Kirby

And HELLO, PITT NIGHT SHIFT. He looks excellent. The peeks of color are very alluring, unless that is just his vibe.

Janel Parrish

This is obviously intentionally designed to be slightly askew, but the effect is... that it looks slightly askew.

Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley

Very pretty. Hayley was honored, and performed at the party. I always associate her more with a rocker edge, so this glam gown is a fun switch.

Leah Lewis

I assume the inspiration for this was "complicated murder board."

Agnez Mo

I want to know more -- or mo, if you will -- about the bracelet, but that's about it.

Simu Liu

Fabulous suit. Well played sir. A lacy look I can get behind.

Daniel Dae Kim

Excellent. Akin to a suit in the other slideshow, MAYBE a bit Beach Wedding, considering how fancy a lot of these other outfits got.

Dianne Doan and Manny Jacinto

I wish her textured ruffles were gold.

Liza Soberano in Phan Huy

I love the fan motif on this; it's creative and cool if perhaps a challenge for sitting.

Lauren Tsai

This also feels somewhat inspired by fans, but... more sloppily.

Ji-young Yoo in Phan Huy

This is so pretty. It might've been cool if it were diamonds all the way down, but I'm not upset that it isn't, if that makes sense.

Anna Cathcart

Put that toddler tutu out of its misery.

Let Us Not Be Neutral About the Gold Gala Neutrals

If possible.
