My pet peeve are strapless bodices that look like someone glued old shoulder pads to the boobs. It undercuts the whole thing, and also, they NEVER flatter a lady's ladies. So even though she picked the right lipstick and she's carrying the color better than I expected, the bodice and that half-assed fishtail make it a flop for me. Parenthetically, she kind of reminds me of Lady Edith here, head-wise. Someone needs to do a Downton/Girls mash-up. Zosia can play Cousin Rose, Allison Williams would probably want to be Lady Mary and I can't really think of anything else to do with her, Adam Driver can be Thomas, and let's face it, I want Jemima Kirke to be the Dowager Countess. In her youth. As a time-traveler, I guess.
The bob is great on Zosia. It's people like her that make me cut my hair when I should not. I quite like this IN THEORY but in practice something about the way it fits her bust is letting her down, and also, let's sing a verse of The Lipstick Song here as well.
She actually looks pretty good. That pattern is something I'm SURE I saw on some patio furniture at my grandmother's old condo in Naples, Florida, but she's soldiering through that better than most.
This is McQueen, and I love it. She seriously is edging out at exactly the right time -- start off playing it safe but pretty and classy, then slowly tiptoe into more adventurous territory. She's being smartly handled.
This Osman dress is also great, as was the gossip she must have gotten when she went to the Sean Penn event this past weekend and got to watch him and Charlize Theron maybe being a couple. Brian Williams will doubtless be excited for the dish. I mean that sincerely. Something about him gives me the impression he enjoys a good gossip session.
