If the assignment here was to design a fashion embodiment of La La Land, then this should get an A-plus; if I like this more than most of y'all, then it fits the narrative even better. It fits so perfectly, and as much as it's REALLY direct, I do also want to see her get swept into a waltz.
My only concern about this is that the longer I look at it, the more the stars start to look a bit... inexpensive, maybe? But that feeling doesn't last. Mostly, it's a master class on a fair-skinned lass pulling off this pale pink color.

And her makeup is flawless with it. There was a very real risk here that she, like many before her, would've gone with a pearly lip that stripped her face of its life. But no. It's perfect. My quibble is that I don't know why her hair needed to look like it was falling loose. WAS it falling loose? Stuff should never look like you're in the midst of an accident, is my feeling.

I also think this is adorable. The shoes are a brown velvet, which is a cool choice. Her feet and Donald Glover's body were in tune this weekend, I guess. Also, we didn't have a photo of it, but please admire the Brock Collection coat she wore with it.

I'm not really into wearable wicker.

This is good, though. I'm impressed the top fits her so well without pinching and causing any spillage. I think I'd have liked to see this knee-length, without the thigh seam.
