## In Alexander McQueen

I tend to find McQueens more overwrought than not -- at least lately -- and this one is... well. It's like a very ornate tidal wave. We've got the curl, the jellyfish on her arms, the salt foam frothing near her feet, and assorted debris all around it. If only it added up to something more elegant. And honestly, with all due respect to how much I want the sleeves to wash away, the worst part might be that it looks like her torso is baring its teeth at us. Why are we looking at any of that? It adds nothing but noise.

WELCOME TO THE MORNING AFTER THE GLOBES. I AM CRANKY.

When she presented on TV with Reese, her face looked orange as heck but the rest of her seemed totally normal. So either she got badly touched up by the backstage makeup artists, or this photo lighting is MAGICAL. Her make up looks damn perfect here.

I like this dress even less in weird lighting. It's more... malevolent.

## In Rochas

This looks like something you'd wear if you secretly broke a rib during racquetball and needed to disguise the wrappings.

And this says, "Get ready. This is as good as it's going to be."
