# Golden Globes 2017: Thandie Newton Looks Mostly Awesome in Monse (Seriously)

Well, well, well. Monse, we meet again and YET AGAIN you have gotten the better of me. I enjoy this development as, truly, I just want interesting people to look good by any means necessary, and Thandie here does both. (She later joked that she was dressed as a cigarette and while SMOKING IS BAD, KIDS, that made me laugh. And laughing is good and also in short supply of late, so. I'll take it, on all fronts.)

It's not as good as her Globes dress -- it seems askew in an unintentional way, like she stumbled out of a wind tunnel -- but she's really making it work.
